I became best friends with a guy who moved to my school. He and I are always hanging out together in school, and many people have asked if we are a couple. We always poke each other during class, and hug every time we part ways. Two months ago, he told me he liked me as more than a friend, and I told him I liked him as more than a friend too. However, he has a girlfriend back where he used to live, and he loves her. Nothing has really happened between us; we're just close, poking/hugging friends. I have developed very strong feelings for him, even though I shouldn't. I really want to get over this infatuation or else I'm going to drive myself crazy thinking about him. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to get over this crush? Unfortunately, I can't just stop "seeing" him because I have class with him everyday and we're best friends, so I'd have to explain why I'm trying to avoid him since he'll notice.

My husband is currently deployed for a year in Asadabad, Afghanistan. He'll be back in 6 months for 15 days, and then leave again for another 6 months.

I miss him so much!

Whats even worse is that we just got married on the 23rd of December and was only 3 days with him afterwards because he had to leave for deployment on the 26th. We didnt even have a honeymoon.

I guess I dont really have a question, I just wish the best for those spouses that are in the same situation. It sometimes gets so hard to cope with it, but in the end what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.

How do you correctly do push ups while on your knees? I know that people use their knees to help them if they can't do a "real" push up. How is that so? I know these push ups are known as "girl" push ups. Why? If you do these push ups, will it help you do "real" push ups later?

so, she broke into my apt and stole a bunch of my bloodthinner meds and started taking massive amounts of them and then bought a gun and told me it was either her or me and then she ended up in the hands of the police and spent a week in a mental hospital and then got out....during that week she was in, I moved 50 miles from that particular city and tried to start a new life...graduated from college...but still have fears about a new relationship....how do I get over that sort of situation and trust women again?

Ok what happen is she is dating me cousin and I fell like she is trying to move in on my family! She spends more time with my older brother than I do! I hate it! And to day I was haveing a realy bad panik (sp?) attck and she didnt care she called and told my mother that I havd fliped out and I was laying in the road! I wasnt anyone that has ever had a panick attack can tell you that you get light headed! I fell!! What do I do? So I have a bf of 8 mo. that i love to death. Here's the problem though, whenever I'm out with my gfs...guys always check me out and some guys comment my looks over myspace and stuff. Wheenver we meet guys at b-ball games or stuff, talking to them just comes naturally to me and they naturally talk back(seeming to my gfs like i'm getting all the attention) So now my gfs are mad at me because they think it's unfair how many guys i attract. It's actually getting annoying to me though because i have a wonderful bf and what do i do to get this guys to stop? also, it is causing problems with my friendships with these girls. HELP!!!! My friend has 2 kids - somewhat well behaved - I watch them on and off. I also have a child same age as the kids. Lately, it's been more on that I watch them. She paid someone one time when I wasn't available. I turned down money offered to me a while back and said friends help each other. She got upset the other day when I told her I had other plans and she shouldn't count on me all the time. She finally called me... to pick her kids up from school tomorrow and to watch them. How do i show this guy i've known for a couple of months that i'm interested in him? I work with him so i want to show him that i'm interested but not make it akward if he doesnt like me the same way i like him.

Mom's been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Question...mom owes everybody money. Her home is way upsidedown, credit cards and probably more. If she names the few things she does own, ie. pictures on the wall, excersize equipment, dishes, you know personal things...if she names them in her will to go to surviving family members, will those items be protected from creditors taking them to satisfy debts??
