Some Men flirt for the same reason some women flirt. They like the attention. Some Men are always weighting there options or they have done it so long that it is part of who they are. Some Men flirt because that is the only way they communicate. As a reform flirter, it does not mean that he doesn't love you. If you let him know how you feel about it than if he is not willingly to explain or try to change his behavior than there maybe another situation here!

It's a guy thing. We flirt with everything that walks but we still keep in mind that we have someone by our side if we're one of the good guys. Don't worry about the flirting because nothing is going on behind your back unless they are unusually strange.
Perhaps if they give you all the attention in the world and then they become avoidant. Or anything else that changes totally around in their personality towards you will give a hint that something is going on and you have the right to find out.

It is just a man thing. It helps boost the ego. My husband is one of the biggest flirts in the world, but I tell you true as the sky is blue, he is a very commited husband and step father. I never fear him stepping out. Flirting makes him feel good and makes him feel like he still has it going on, so big deal, men need that boost, women don't.

It's not a matter of "If they really love you, they won't flirt" as much as it is natural. In the natural world, the man is used to having all the women around him as his own, the king of the pack.
But on a more personal level, do you show him you love him? Not necessarily in a "give him all the attention" sort of way, but more of, you show him how and why you love him, if you love him. They'll appreciate you more and know you're who they want to be with.
If they're not dense.

It's normal. Boys have this fear that they will lose you. So to keep you happy they flirt. But this behavior is normal. In fact he loves you more than anything in the world. Don't leave him because of this behavior.

It's a ego thing. They want you to think how lucky you are to have them. So they flirt with other girls trying to make you think this. I know that sounds messed up but thats what JERKS do.

It's sort of like going on E-bay...you test the waters until another better bid comes along. If he is still with you, there are no better bidders, but who knows what auction item may come up.
