First off, even if she is not doing it, faking is a cry for help. Try and talk to her yourself and research some free programs that will help withher anxiety. Try and see if it's somethin less risky like a boyfriend issue or something serious with parents. Once she opens up to you and she will because she trusts you, you tell her that seld mutalation is not an option. I used to do the same thing. The reason i stopped is because i realized my beauty and what i have to offer this world is worth more than that. TRY TO LIMIT the amount of people you get involved. if it is not too serious, if she is only talking about it and not doing it try to handle it with an older brother, sister, friend, or cousin she trusts. be careful. try not to embarass her and get the whole world involved if possible.

You should be able to tell is she is cutting. Tell her to show you. If you are in school you should tell a councilor, doing so may save her life. She needs to go to a hospital psychiatric ward for her age group for about 2 weeks. We just went through this. Her telling you was a step in asking for help even if she didn't actually ask. She may be seeking attention, or she is depressed, or even suicidal. She needs help fast. Remember, please...you can not help her so don't feel it is your duty. You make sure she knows that you care and you will be there when she wants to talk or hang out but don't try to make yourself think that you can save her. Good luck and we will pray for your friend.

It is time for her to have professional help, tell her parents, a teacher anyone that can get it for her. Stay by her side and let her talk and really listen to her. Good luck

The best thing to do for her is TELL AN ADULT. immediately! I am seriously! If you dont want to lose your friend, then you should tell an adult!
And also convince her to stop cutting herself!
