I think your friend sounds jealous that you have him in your life and that she has to share you. I'll bet she does not have a boyfriend of her own.? She needs to get her own life and let you make your own decisions.

Follow your heart. I know this sounds cheesy, but you can't always do what your friends think. If he treats you right, is nice, fun, respectful, etc. Then you have nothing to worry about. Do what YOU want. Not what others say you should do.
