First off, even if she is not doing it, faking is a cry for help. Try and talk to her yourself and research some free programs that will help withher anxiety. Try and see if it's somethin less risky like a boyfriend issue or something serious with parents. Once she opens up to you and she will because she trusts you, you tell her that seld mutalation is not an option. I used to do the same thing. The reason i stopped is because i realized my beauty and what i have to offer this world is worth more than that. TRY TO LIMIT the amount of people you get involved. if it is not too serious, if she is only talking about it and not doing it try to handle it with an older brother, sister, friend, or cousin she trusts. be careful. try not to embarass her and get the whole world involved if possible.

ya cant make her. sadly she found comfort in this. its a very bad habit to get into but i would warn her that they can hospitlize you for stuff like that. I got 10 days in a mental hospital for cuttin thats almost enought to make ya stop.crazy people everywere and druggies. scary place. If that doesnt scare her tell her she needs to find a better way to express her pain and anger. I find writing very helpful also relgion helps a bunch. hope that helps but keep in mind ya cant stop her that has to come from with in her!

In all likelihood you can't. She needs professional help, a lot of uneducated people think cutter/slashers/self-mutilators are seeking attention, but all it takes for a disaster is one cut too deep. If you can't convince her to seek help, you should care enough to do it for her even if it means the end of your friendship. That's the extreme test of friendship, when you care enough, to be a Friend even if it means the end of your relationship.

first of all she need professional help. There are websites that you can get information on, but I would contact her parents. She might be mad at first, but they need to be aware. She has an obvious self esteem issue and this could lead to suicide on purpose or accident. Notify an adult if not her parents.

Talk to her parents, your parents, a school guidance counselor or a teacher that can be trusted. Maybe they can get her help. There are also hotlines that she can call or that you can call foir more advice
