Is your son not going? No I dont think I would bring anyone unless you also have a daughter. If you bring a friend it might look strange. Look on the bright side, at least you will get to know "the girls" in the other family better, that will benefit you as time goes on and you are introducing people to his family.

Best of luck!

Maybe it wouldn't be to presumptuious to bring the bride's new sister-in-law to help out if she is going to have one, or a grandmother-in-law to be...someone that will be a close relative to be probably wouldn't be taken as an offense. Good luck.

if possible - bring your son or a family member - but be careful not to let them become an excuse not to socialize with the bride and her family:) She is gonna be part of your fmaily, there is no better time to start getting to know them.

First of all you son should be going regardless. You could bring his grandmother or sister; but I wouldn't bring anyone else.

Don't let the "not yet" in-laws think for you. It's a free country and if you aren't comfortable with being alone, bring anyone you want. Trust me, they may be your ex-in-laws some day.
