She moved here 4 months ago, and my cousin and his sister are her only friends, and my cousin dated her for 2 months. He couldn't commit, so he broke it off, and now I've had the pleasure of meeting and spending time alone with her. I felt an immediate connection, but two things are bothering me: she's 28 and I'm almost 23, and she already dated my cousin and feels a little awkward still associating with his (extended) family. I really like her, and could see a future with her, but I don't want to put her in an awkward position. What do I do?

3 years ago today and I'm still not divorce yet. I finally filed the papers Jan. 19.06 - the court then gave me this letter stated "Status conference" and a bunch of "memorandum that needed to be filed?" It's set Jan. 16.07(which is coming in a few weeks) I would like to prepare for this if anyone could give me heads up- that would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I got engaged when I was 17, married at 18. Pretty young. Was I ready? Um, probably not. We've been married for 2 1/2 years now, and sometimes I find myself questioning my marriage. Like, do I really love him? Is this the man I want forever? We had issues and seperated for 2 months. I could be crying my heart out one day, and ok the next. Yet, I felt like I was missing something. Like I am not complete without him. I think I need him in my life.. I want to make this marriage work. We also have a year and a half old son together. I don't believe in divorce unless for a very good reason, such as if he cheated or something... I just want to make it last, and not waste my time and then we divorce later on. We been together since I was 16, and I am now almost 21. I figure the sooner I can figure this out the better so I can step forward in life.

So, I told my dad the other day that I will be moving out this summer on my own so I can be closer to college but mainly for the reason that I feel that it is the right thing to do. See, I noticed I have a problem in making decisions and following through with them, I'm too complacement at my parent's house, I'm at a good age to move out (23), and want to start learning about life even if it will give me rainy or sunny days. I know I will stress w/ bills, lonliness, and just juggling school w/ work and my personal life. My dad said, "If you move out, you will be devoured!" That kind of hurt me...did he mean that I will fail? He told me the reality is harsh. I have been kind of worried lately because I know I'll be lonely living by myself since I'm so use to living w/ my family...I don't need to prove to my dad I can do it...but I am a bit scared? Is that normal?

I am getting to the point after 9 months with him... check this out... I just met his 9 year old daughter, she thinks we are just friends... my boyfriend lives with my 5 year old and I, and I am going through a divorce as well, but I AM GOING THROUGH THE DIVORCE. My boyfriend has been separated for 1 1/2 years. When I mention getting a divorce from her he says I am going over the line.
We are both in recovery from alcohol and drugs, doing great, and I want to marry this man. He is wonderful, and I want to continue my life with him. What do I do? He is very honest with me with her.. .well recently I think. He usually goes in the bedroom to call his daughter each night, so I assume he is talking to his wife and doesn't want to upset me. He bought me beautiful jewelry for XMAS and we are really help each other... and I truly truly am in love with him. We argue, get along great, and I can't stand being apart from him. 10 months going strong. What do I do about this divorce

K I dated this guy, and he's SUCH a ***, he purposely makes me jealous, and I know it and try to not let it get to me, but it does. And I'm at the point where I want to give him a taste of his own medicine.
And I know this is not very mature, but I have been for the last yr, and it's just something I need to win, but I don't want to HURT him. Just let him know, that it's not fun to have someone make you jealous. I have lots of guy friends...... and I never see my ex.
Any suggestions ? That work ? And thats not slutty... I couldn't say " I had the best sexlast night!, cause he knows I would never do that"... Just something very subtle.
Thanks!

My step daughter, a recent college graduate, turned 21 in April last year, support stopped. Her mother is now suing my husband for over $2K for medical bills incurred between 1996-present. She submitted copies from medical bills, but upon reviewing them, she used her husbands insurance, not ours. We have never had any out of pocket expenses for our medical coverage, including my sons surgery. I am wondering how a judge would make him pay for it when she didn't even use his insurance. Had she used his, there would not have been any expenses. He is responsible for and required per the divorce decree to 1) Provided insurance, 2) pay 100% of medical. Would he legally be obligated to pay that because she failed to use the insurance that he had? Thanks!

My younger sister (by 4 yrs) is turning 40 next wk. She will be at work, in a busy hospital ER, at the registration desk. I really want to do something to call attention to her 40th birthday - she'd gorgeous, in great shape, very active, and has teased me for years about being the older sister. She is trying to downplay it. Now it's my turn! What can I do that won't be too over the top to get her in trouble? I see her there a lot because I am a paramedic. Oh - she will become a grandmother in April. Her coworker said not to send dead or black flowers - the hospital frowns on that, for some strange reason. Any ideas?

What do you think about your best friend giving you cash for a Christmas present? Am I just being old-fashioned in thinking that cash is too Impersonable a gift? I have believed that a gift should reflect your relationship and understanding of that person, showing your consideration of the person, not just a required transaction.

I appreciate the gesture of giving a gift, but I would have been much more appreciative of a cheaper dollar value that expressed a connection...am I being to sensitive?

I have my custody order in the state of California and my ex lives in Oregon. I am trying to move to Idaho within the next couple of months. This will actually put my son closer to his dad. I just need to know what the right way of going about leaving would be. I already talked to my ex about it and he was ok with the idea of our son living there. I just dont want to leave and have him say he never knew. Any input would help!
