i have been with this really nice guys and we lost our virginity to each other on the 23rd and everyone says its a bad thing to have gone that far with a guy at this age do u guys think it is

thanks guys ur a lot of help to me i just feel weird having to keep it from my mom and everyone b/c or i will be grounded and out be able to sleep in the same bed or in the same room as my boyfriend anymore so thanks for the advise

What I think is that if you feel ready to do it then it's totally fine, but if you feel kind of awkward and something isn't right then it's probably bad. Also it's couldn't be that bad becuase I mean this guy sounds cool to wait a year and 9 months.

If you really care about each other and have waited that long to have sex, why is it wrong? Its better than some kids out there who are only 13 and sleep with anyone. 17 is a good age.

You have to start making decisions for yourself at some age, 17 is not so bad a starting point.
Just remember that in all things safety is important, always use protection.

Well alot of ppl lose their virginity at an ealier age which is not so good but you guys dated for quite some time and got to know each other so that'll be ok as long as you bothn wanted that to happen.

It is better you make your mistakes and learn what you need to learn at 17 as long as there are no reprocussions (like being un-safe)
17 is sort of a National Average, Too much earlier is weird, too much later is too stiff. So why are you worried with normal??

actually, i think you did pretty good holding out so long. it's VERY hard now a days. just be careful and use protection. you don't want a baby at your age.
