I have a friend who's baby's mother called the police on him over domestic violence. I'm not sure but she says he choked her. She's a little crazy and she says she just wanted to teach him a lesson by sending him to jail and he went to jail but, she loves him and doesn't want to press charge's because she "loves him too much and it was just to teach him a lesson." But, now the I think the DA wants to press charges.They've signed up for counseling and he is truly scared straight and he wants to get help for his anger issues. What can happend to him? He still has to go to court. I live in Southern California.. THANKSS

i am in a gay relationship for just over a year. my partner and i broke up at around 10 months and got together again a month later. we broke up because he got a bit violent. we deciced to work it out and now are back together. i still feel that he gets a bit out of controll sometimes, but not too hectic.

If he beat me once, will it happen again??
and do gay relationships ever last, and why is there always so much jealosy??

My friend is one of these people who cannot finish a sentence without punctuating it with this spicy, "you know what I mean!" I suspect it is an acquired (not natural) speech pattern because it does not appear when my friend writes anything.

I am afraid it is becoming rather serious now.

But immediately the lips begin to flap, it is all "yu naw whar...ra i mean" in every sentence.

I'd not mind if there was no interview coming next month. Those panelists not used to the speech pattern may find it embarrassing having to say constantly, "No I dont know what you mean!" and might judge my friend unfairly!


Are there ways to help?

I went out to a party with my friend on New Years! We used to be close this time last year and ended up becoming an couple after last New Years which only lasted 2 weeks because he was not over his ex and was stressed out over a new job and taking it out on me . I finished it before we went slept together to avoid ruining our friendship. A few months ago we started to go out as friends again which we hadn't done for ages and after a good New Years we ended up having sex (Which was amazing) Now i can't stop thinking about him and want to tell him how i feel as he thinks i just want to casual sex with him as both of us don't want to get into a relationship! He is not into the casual sex thing as he knows people get too attached and i agree. I am scared to tell him how i feel and dont want to ruin our friendship through doing so. Please help!!

So I have been with my bf for just under 2 years, and the other day I found out that my bf has slept with a prostitute before our time. It's not the fact he did what he did, it's the fact that apparently we don't have secrets and I have asked him before whether he had done anything like this, yet in a row he pipes up and tells me that he has. Then refuses to tell me any detail and says I am judging him. Yet I have been completely honest with him regarding my past skeletons and all. I feel quite ill knowing that my guy could go and pick up a woman off the street and shag her without any alteria motive but to get laid. Can people please give me some input as I really am struggling to deal with this one. He has a place abroad that he goes to with his mates each year. I know he goes to strip clubs, but the funniest thing is that he has always made out they are **** places, full of prostitues, what am I supposed to think now? yet he has been with one!!!

I have a relative who's kind of a cousin (we're related through our great-grandmother, meaning my grandma and his are sisters). We weren't very close in the past years.

But since the end last year (around October or so) we sort of got into contact through a party. After that we've become pretty close. We message (text, SMS, whatever you chose to call it) each other numerous times everyday (20, 30+ messages every day. Please bear in mind that I live in a message addict country - Singapore).

We talk on the phone occasionally and in both our conversation and messages we talk about a gazillion things. Both personal and light.

I kind of didn't realize this until recently, but how is this relationship viewed? My boyfriend kind of think that there is more to it than friendship although I disagree. He then told me that I don't realize it but probably the guy wants more than friendship.

To me though, its kind of ridiculous 'cause we're still family. I need opinions. Thanks.

I am the oldest (20)and have a younger brother(17) and for a long time my parents have shown blatant favoratism towards my brother. this isn't your typical case where someone thinks they are yelled at more and the other one gets more attention. my brother is a little tyrant and they still treat him better than me. I know that they like me better as a person because my brother is a horrible person and they both know he is because that's how they raised him because they always let him have is way, i didn't turn out that way because because i have lived walking on eggshells trying not to get screamed at for anything i do. they have agreed that he is a little jerk but still treat him better than me, for a lng time they'd deny it but finally my mom admitted it and said he gets treated better because he likes to watch sports with my dad and go to movies and go fishing with him and i don't.

I told my brother's wife, don't call her husband(my brother) by name, it doesn't look good,infront of me or parents, then she statred arguing with me, there are some other instances where, she was not wearing the sarees,propperly and it was looking odd, the way it should be in front of the elder peoples, i told her again, and she didn't listen. There are some other occasion, when she has shown the aggresive attitude.My brother doesn't say any thing to her, probably she fights if he will say the same,thats why i told all those things, and now my brother and she is not continuing any relation to me.She is also very reluctant in wearing sarees, multiple times i have told my brother and her both,but she didn't wear.I asked my brother to do some thing for this, he tried for some time, now he also doesn't say any thing to her, and she does what she wants.Please suggest.

A guy will sit and wait for her messages on IM and cellphone. He doesn't say anything to her because she has a really bad BF who physically abused her. She told the guy she likes him more than her XBF but because of too much drama she gave him before. so here it goes: we have met each other for about 4-5 times. he is the brother of an old classmate of mine. he wouldn't initiate a conversation and in general he doesn't talk much and in fact he does only when I talk to him about things that he knows and interest him (internet, photography, technology). it's not that he doesn't talk to me rather that he doesn't talk. we have never been alone, I have only seen him these 4-5 times that I went out for coffee with his sister. I think that he is interested, some times he looks at me in a certain way. In general he is the quite type. the sure thing is that I´m too shy to say something, that if I ask from his sister to be involved she may mess the whole thing. where to I go from here? any suggestions??

My father went to UK 14 years before,time to time,he has got all the family members (brother and mom)with him settled in UK. My sis is with me but her appeal has been accepted and she has a hope to join the family in UK.I am the eldest son.For family settlement there is no way for me to join my family. I am losing hope.I've waited for 10 years. Now I am begining to lose hope. I started smoking,first occassionally and now regular. I am tired of waiting. There is NO Way visible for me. I am single, cannot get married cause of financial problems. I am afraid of going further with bad habbits. I know it is really "bad" but I really find nothing else to unleash my anger on. I've NO HOPE that I would ever make it with my family.I don't want to lose myself but the situations are really tearing me apart!!!
Can anyone of u pals help me overcome this mental and physical torture? I really would be highly obliged.

I am getting out of an abusive relationship with a drug addict, alcoholic and severely depressed man. Our marriage has been over for months and I have moved on. I am TRYING to move on.
