i still love my ex, but we are still hanging out together.
but he wants to be just friends now.
also he still tells me that he loves me. but doesnt want a relationship.
how do you stop loving him, when you know you cant love him that way.

My boyfriends ex-wife (they've been divorced for 4 yrs) won't allow me to attend any of their children school or dance functions. Even though the kids and he would like me to be there. My boyfriend says just to give her some time. I think she is being petty and jealous., and that he should just take me, I am an upstanding citizen and a good role model. I don't think she has a right to say anything as long as I am not a danger to her children. He won't stand up to her about anything. They're his kids too, how come she gets to rule the roost in his life even though they are no longer married?? Am I being stupid?? What should I do??

I am with a man for 4 and 1/2 years now and he has a 5yr old son by his most recent ex. While his son is lovely I still have issues with the fact that he told me about him 2 years into the relationship and I still have to accept the fact that he is still friendly with his ex. Over the x-mas hols I just wanted to disappear and go somewhere on my own because ex was in contact with him alot (his son was spending these days with us) and they were exchanging texts and wishing each other a great holiday. While this is supposed to be a good thing since they have a child together, I was pissed off because he already had his son. why did he need to be in contact with her? Am i being immature or would anyone else feel similar?

My husband really loves sports. So what you might say. But really..I don't watch them at all and want to do other things at night and on the weekend but he is content to watch sports all weekend. Football in the winter..baseball in the summer. What should I do.

I got married to someone else when I first met "him" online. Told him I was getting married. He still sent me email cards through these 4 yrs for Christmas, Halloween,ect..just friend stuff..
I notified him of my divorce in September of 06..he started emailing me again,,this time wanting to meet me and asking me out after the divorce.He started calling me and talking over the phone some...Well I invited him to a family party 5 days ago before New Years Eve. He met my family stayed about an hour and left..said we could do lunch maybe this week,,, he sent me another email card for New Years, but nothing else since...I texted message him on New Years but he has done nothing since....
He is a doctor and claims to be busy at times,,,what do you think ..I need GUY advice on this also...

I've just broken up with my g/f of three years. During this time I've fallen out of touch with my friends as she never seems to get on with them (especially female ones), I've found that we always spent time with her friends and family instead of mine even though as a doctor I hardly have any free time. Ironically I find myself having spent more money on her than vice versa 'as I earn more money'. I'm not asking if this relationship was right but how much other people have put up in relationships too. I'm just suprised I stayed with her and her insecurities for so long.

Is this whole 'lets get married young' thing simply a fad or is cupid being ridiculously generous lately? Personally - I am all for love and marriage and I do think that childhood sweethearts are a beautiful thing. However, I also think that they are a RARE thing. I am huge on soul searching and at 22; I am still fully entrenched in my own little world of self discovery and independent growth (quite a rare thing, where I come from!). I just really want to know if I am sadly, part of a dying breed. Seriously – What is the rush? I really don’t understand…I’m *lostdownhere*.
