I went on a date with this guy the week before x-mas, before the date we got along great..after the date he has never called or benn in contact..i called him and left a message wising him a happy new year and said I would not be contacting him again..was that a stupid move?

kinda..would have been better if you simply wished him a happy new year and hang up..if he wanted to call he'd call, if not, his loss...

no it was not stupid if he wanted to talk to you he would of called you by now. give up not like you never had a date that didnt work out

Yours sounds alot like my question I just posted...my gut feeling is that you and I probably need to move on..these guys sound like they are in the same club.....I want 2007 to be better then last year,,so I think Im moving on

if you gave it up to him hes probably not going to call you back....... if he hasnt called you then things might have not worked out. dude you barely met him ....who cares about this Douche Bag. hes either going to call or not so in the mean time, just move on with your life like it was a month ago....

Obviously he did not click with you as you seem to have clicked with him.
Was not a stupid move telling him you will not call again, if he wanted to he would have called.
Best not to call him anymore though.
