I say this because at times one partner seems to give more than the other and then the tables will turn. I don't believe that there has ever been a relationship that has been a total 50/50 split down the middle. And even if there were, it would certainly be boring to be completely equal in every aspect with someone else.

My dad - for as long as I can remember - would tell my mother that us kids were going to grow up, get married and leave them and all my mother would have is him. While that is just what happens in life, he has used it as a means of brainwashing her to the point that when faced with having to chose between us or him - which he does often - she always takes his side. This is our birth father and mother. Even when I call her on the phone, he will distract her from the conversation. When I was a teen, I was kick out by hm many times and he would always play the "he or me card: Would you consider this a competition that my father is having with his kids for my mothers attention. What do we do about it?

My sis lives to get me grounded. She does it frequently, good thing my parents don't ground me. But they want to. Well I guess I call it grounded like I lose some of my computer time or T.V time. But nothing serious.

Example

Sis-Give me that!
Me- I can't I have to study it.
Sis-I'm telling dad!
Then before she tells dad she claws me with her sharp nails and leaves marks and peels skin! Does my dad care...... NO!
Dad-Why can't you two just get along! Shes just a little kid she dosn't know what she's doing when she claws you!
Sure she's three but going on four and very evil.

I know this question has been asked multiple times but I didn't think it applied to me until this morning. If my husband has been looking at porn without me knowing it, is it a sign of things to come? Like an affair? It seems like I am more interested in sex than he is most of the time. hi i am a 35 yr-old mother of two doin well but about 2yrs aago iwas living in the projects 4 12 yrs and my grand ma came upon some money,well my uncle from atlanta took control of everything.anyway,he told me he wanted me to get out of the project to have a better life for me and my kids and wanted me to be close to my granny so my granny bought me a use good lookin mobile home but we have a contract to where i pay her 200 per mon.til i'm finish.so everything was goin good til my uncle moved down here with my granny,all of a sudden he don't like my bf so it cause a lot bad blood.he wanted me to pay lot fee tried to get me sued from my home,took me to court but he lost.okay,i got rid of my ex and found someone who is everything to me and my kids,hell,even my uncle like him alot,but things still didn't changed.my uncle went behind our back and bought the land that we r on cause he don't want my mom nor my sis on the land because they stick out for me,it's bad!!!so pleez help me heal

I went on vacation for a week and my significant other told me that while I was away he was going to use that time to find out if he could handle being alone. I personally think this is bullsh*t. Before I left he made sure that I had stocked the fridge and freezer with food and snacks and that the dogs had plenty of treats and food. If you were going to use time away from your girlfriend, wouldn't that mean that you had to take care of yourself completely? Wouldn't the whole point been me leaving without caring one way or the other if you had your snacks and dinners ready to throw in the microwave/oven? I say he knows he doesn't want to be alone therefore he asked me to do all those things for him before I left......

Ok, I am 15, she is 16. We have known each oter for about 2 months or so and we have become very good friends. People say she likes me and flirts with me but is she just the touchy feely type? She hugs me alot and will sit on my lap. We link arms walking together and she will lean on me sometimes too (me against a wall, her leaning back on me). She doesn't do this with other people.
