i bought a perfume for my boyfriend this christmas, as i couldn't find anything nice enough for him, although i looked for a gift for a hole day. when i gave it to him, he looked at me very upset and told me he didn't expect such an unpleasant surprise from me. he even called me "superficial" and told me he wished for something else, something "from the heart" and which would make him remember me. i was pretty disppointed.what do you think? was he rude? was the fact that i tried to make him a nice surprise a bad thing? p.s.: he had told me he wanted a new perfume a few days before

is this weird, when i go out, i get alot of men in my age, and in there 20s coming on to me. but im not intrested . i prefer men who are alot older than me . my friends tell me that old men are disgusting and there all perverts. i think being with men in there 40s, and 50s are gorgeous. and i like men in there 60s too. i dont know what it is about older men. is anyone else like me

Tonight I am going to the movies to see The Pursuit of Happiness and I am really excited but there is a problem. I am going with my mother, my aunt, my 17 year old cousin and his girlfriend. My cousin and his girlfriend are little punks and are completely immature. They often say that they think it's funny to laugh at innappropriate times, and are constantly joking about the STUPIDEST things amongst themselves. The girlfriend is usually disrespectful towards adults. How do I handle it when, during the movie, they start acting out? I want to enjoy my movie. Also, they were not invited, my aunt is just bringing them along. To top it all off, my aunt thinks they are perfect angels that can do NO wrong, so saying anything to her is useless and actually I would be the bi%ch if I dared to say anything about their behavior. Any suggestions? PLEASE

Whats your opinion? My husband is gone out of town working most the time. I stay at home with the kids everyday. I do all the cooking & cleaning & Run every errend that needs to be done. He comes home and looks around the living room and tells me to move the furniture because he does not like it the way I have it aranged. Same with the any other room. He moves my garbage can in the kitchen because he thinks it looks stupid where it is but he puts it across the kitchen and I have to walk around a island to get to it. I had it where it was because it is more functional as I am the one in the kitchen all the time. I have 2 small kids and toys all over the house. I have a small basket in the living room for toys that make there way down stairs. last night he told me that he does not want that in HIS living room because it looks messy! I say we have 2 small kids and the house looks lived in. I ask his opinion and he says do whatever so I feel he has no say at all!

so me and my best friend of four years went through this huge spat she lied and said things behind my back and now that we have worked things out she seems to do things that piss me off, now she has moved into an apartment right beside me and she copied neverything like my furniture and my curtians she even went and got her hair cut and colored like i did, then i was thinking of getting a tattoo and the next day se went and got the exact same one!!! Even when it sucks? I hate being alone and seeing all those happy couples makes me feel worse. It all most feels that I will always be single due to having high expectations in what I look for in a mate. Sometimes I wish I could lower my high expectations and just settle with just anyone, like most people do.

I was never lucky in the love department, in high school or college. I was in the swim team in both high school and college, but that never helped. As soon as I turned 25 I became this sort of girl magnet. And I just couldn't understand why until some friends told me. Most guys by 25 are already out of shape, and I never stopped swimming, they are balding, and I have all my hair. And I've had a really good paid job for several years already. Most of the girls my age who used to turn me down, now at 25 look a lot older than me.

I feel so lucky, should I find a wife now that I seem to get a lot of girls, or should I have fun, and not think about mariage until I'm 30?

So I met this guy in 9th grade. Were now 19 years old. We have been talking off and on for a month now. I recently came into town and we have hung out about everyday. I like him alot and he claims he likes me alot. He has a girlfriend and a baby on the way. I have a boyfriend. We fooled around yesterday night. He asked me to be his secret girlfriend yesterday as well. I said yes. Well today I write him and I told him how happy I was about what had happened yesterday and that i'm happy were now secretly together. We`ve been married for 20 years. We`re having the usuall problems, but I`m noticing a pattern for the last 3 Christmas` he clinches to anything on Christmas Eve and then doesn`t lighten up till the day after boxing day. I have stopped covering for my children's legal father. I used to be the person who would make excuses for him not calling or doing what real daddy's do. Now, he's upset with me because they know he's not paying child support or taking care of their emotional or financial needs. He hasn't visited them since August of '06 and phone calls are rare.

How is this not their business when it affects them? Some of it they found out on their own...but I did tell them about the child support when they wanted something from the store and I couldn't get it for them because of not having the cash because I spent what I had on their needs.

I think they need to know the real person he is.

I think I should have stopped covering for him a long time ago. Do you think he has a right to be mad at me for it?
