are we still together?

Question

my boyfriend of 7 months went to france at the beginning of this month.he promised me that nothing would change but since he went,he hasnt called.wat does that mean?that we are stil together but he cant count francs or its js a polite way of saying its over? HELP

Wow.. that is horrible, you poor thing. In the least, its the most insenstive thing he could do.. but I bet he is being a chicken and taking this oppertunity to let you go. That is sooo not fair or right. But it happens. When my HS Sweetheart broke up with me, years ago, he did a similar thing. After 3 years together I did not even get a phone call or hear from him for 4 months!! He never returned my calls or anything. Finally, I ran into him and he admitted he was too scared to do it. He cared but wanted to move on and didn't want to hear me hurt or cry. He said this was easier. Whatever. Good luck.

Are you sure everything is ok with him? It seems strange that there would be no contact at all. I hope that at least he phones to wish you a Merry CHristmas!

Incidentally, it is not very expensive to phone from France if you buy one of those international phone cards (from any newsagent) and they cost just 7 francs for several hours of talk (depending where you are calling). Do not make excuses for him in that way. If you have serious concerns as to his wellbeing you could contact his family to see if they have heard anything. If all seems to be well, then I would accept that for 7 months he made you happy but that he has, quite literally, moved on.

Don't feel too badly about it - 'tis better to find out now that he was likely to stray at the first opportunity, than to have let this relationship meander on.

It's very expensive to call from France. If you've been together for 7 months and you've trusted him up to this point, then there's nothing to worry about. Assuming that kind of thing can scare guys away (I'm not you did, and to keep it that way don't actually ask him if that's what he means by it, i.e. don't let him know that you're worrying like this) so just relax and consider the time being a chance to catch up a lot more with your other friends.

Unless you or him decides it is and tells the other it's not over. Maybe he just needs the time to think also maybe it costs a whole lost of money to call here from all the way over there. Just trust that he still cares until he gives you a reason not to. Maybe you could call him?

i just think he's like most guys....stupid. (no offense.) he should call u, but he doesn't, and that doesn't mean it's over! just think of it from his point of view...he gets back and ur off with someone else b/c u thought it was over between u 2 and he's missed u soooo much. (even though he didn't bother to call.) so no, i don't think it's over.

no it would cost a ton of money to call. how long is he staying? that wouldn't be a way of saying it's over though. if you know where he's staying write him a letter telling him you miss him.

wait he may call you he might have lost contact .make some effort to find him .go to france may be you can still find him .but don't jump to conclusion so quickly
