My friend Mary has been spilling her guts out to me lately and she has a family crisis that only she knows about. She caught her dad watching really sick uncensored stuff eversince her brother got a new high defenition television with the 900 or so channels. Her mom works the night shift so she has no clue about it but shes been thinking about telling her ,so her dad would stop it ,but she can see that her parents are already on the brink of getting a divorce. She says shes been having nightmares about her father and the things he does behind his familys back. She dispises her own father and never reponds when he tells her he loves her...I belive she truly does hate him. Its a heart breaking sight and now shes asking me for advice,but unfortunately i have nothing...so what do i say?

She's 2 months old, and we have split up because he was physically abusive towards me. He has seen our daughter a few times and turned up on the doorstep yesterday, drunk.

I told him to go away but he wouldn't, he barged in and ran upstairs to her cot and picked her up. I didn't want to grab him off her so I asked him to hand her to me. He refused, and went to take her downstairs but nearly dropped her because he was so drunk.

After that he gave her back to me and left, but has been calling me all day apologising and begging me to let him see her.

What do you think?

Me and my bf split up a couple of weeks ago, we were together for 2 yrs and it ended very suddenly with him saying he cant be with someone now and its how it has to be. In the weeks leading up to this we were talkin bout our future together and all that stuff and he seemed really keen to have a future with me. Then he went home to his parents, we live together, he comes back and is real distant and just ended it. Last night we were txt'n each other for about 2-3 hours, just like we were really good friends again. Do u think maybe he just freaked out and needs some time or is he over it and just bein nice?

I was married with my ex husband for 20 years. We met when we were both 16 years old in high school. We married 5 years later and had two beautiful children. He loved me so much. I never once question how he felt about me. Everyone knew this and thought we would be together forever. Well in 2003-04 I did something illegal with money and was incarcerated for 2 years. 10 days after I left he met another woman and has been with her ever since. I was the only woman he had ever been with sexually before her. They got married recently and everyone says she is so controlling. I love this man so unconditionally and want him back desperately. He only married this woman because he was desperate and his parents pressured him to get away from me. We were great parents together and did everything with our children. Everyone thought I was a great mother and my children were always very attached to me. We were first loves. What are my chances at getting him back? I know he loves me!!

My husband and I have been married 2 yrs.He is a truck driver and we seldom see one another.This month was our Anniversary, we didn't spend it together nor last year.I told him I wanted something special this year that came from his heart and showed me he knew & loved me well.He made an effort but it was 30 min. shop at walmart.I don't feel very valued.My question is why would a man,any man put such little thought or effort toward a woman he claims to love more than all other?Especially since we seldom see one another?
