Me and my bf split up a couple of weeks ago, we were together for 2 yrs and it ended very suddenly with him saying he cant be with someone now and its how it has to be. In the weeks leading up to this we were talkin bout our future together and all that stuff and he seemed really keen to have a future with me. Then he went home to his parents, we live together, he comes back and is real distant and just ended it. Last night we were txt'n each other for about 2-3 hours, just like we were really good friends again. Do u think maybe he just freaked out and needs some time or is he over it and just bein nice?

It sounds like he did "Freak out" a lot. Your question starts off with "my bf split up,,,," Well, your split up. Now it sounds like your hoping he will change his mind. Does that sound about right? I would just live your life as though you and he are over. If he changes his mind and wants to be back with you then make him work hard for it. Why dont you try really hard to forget about him and do something nice for you. Go out with another guy, buy yourself a gift, do something for you. Your a valuable rare piece of artwork and he let you go....and not for a very good reason. He doesnt need to be punished for it, but he needs to know that he made a very bad choice. I dont even know you but you sound very kind and sweet. Dont let him jerk you around, I mean it. Now, get your butt over to Macy's and buy yourself something cool.

Just be a friend. He will see what he is missing real quick. Don't pressure too much. However, if he comes back make damn sure he knows that this was a one time deal. He cannot take a break whenever he feels like it. You are too good for that.

Sounds like he is not ready to commit to this relationship. If this is the case he should be man enough to let you know instead of just quitting. My advice is ask him once again if marriage if on the card and if not, move on. He's not worth your passion and love.
