I wouldn't necessarily quit, I understand how you must feel, as I just went through something similar to this. You want to be able to make your own money and be able to contribute to getting ahead and building a future for the both of you. This is absolutely fine. However, it sounds as though your loved one is screaming out that he misses alone time and quality time with you. I would see if maybe you could cut back on your hours a little and make some precious time for him as well. But keep in mind, make some precious time for yourself as well, as we all need alone time to gather our thoughts and be the best we can be.

Key is, keep everything in moderation. Keeping a healthy balance will help out everyone involved and keep you sane.

It is easier to deny than to admit. You will need to weight the consequences if you continue with what you're doing now. No need to quit your job because of this but rather balance your work and personal life. You have a boyfriend who is feeling the pain thus you will need to work this out carefully. Being financial independant is good but by doing so and risk losing your loved one is not worth the price to pay. Work with your boyfriend and find a win-win solution.

You should try to make more time for him if not you'll lose him. If it means you have to quit your job and find one that would allow rom for you guys to spend more time together, then so be it. If not, just try to create a schedule with your current job so that you 2 can be together more often.

of course you shouldn't quit. if you need to work to support the both of you, then he shouldn't complain. maybe encourage him to get a job, so u wont have to work so much to support both of you. he shouldnt throw away what you guys have because of something that stupid. however, if he does, then its for the better.

He is your boyfriend, not your husband. He doesn't get a say. IF he becomes your husband one day, he can offer his opinion, but it is still your decision.
