I would like to meet new friends to hang out with. Can I do this via a personals site like Yahoo Personals? Profiles often say something like 'looking for new friend,maybe more',or 'freinds first, see how it develops'. What if I don't want it to develop? I just want to hang out and have fun. No expectations, frustations, romance, or jealousy.

We have been married for 2 years and dated for 3 before that, we have a 1 year old daughter and a nice life. My husband has a great job that doesn't pay well and because of our daughter I work retail...it seems though, that even though we have enough to pay the bills and eat and buy things we want...we don't have enough to save for much. We end up fighting all the time about money. We've tried a budget but his idea of a budget is saving everything thats left after bills and we don't get to buy food or anything. He doesn't understand that you can save a still eat and buy things you want, just in moderation. Any suggestions on how to stop the money fights?

He is cool, and all, and i am writeing him e-mails. He sent me an e-card that said merry christmas, and all . . . I dont know if he likes me more than a friend or not. I mena he claims he is my best friend, but he has not said anythign more. He plays pranks on all of my friends, and either wants me to watch, or to help in some way. Please. Do you think e likes me, becasue i have no idea what is going on in his head. What are guys ways of showing they like you? I mean he is my best friend, and he e-mails me, and he agrees with me alot. What should I get my boyfriend's parents for Christmas? His mother loves crafty things and taking pictures, but also gets stressed a lot...

His stepfather is a carpenter, and I don't know too much about him except that he's nice.

I'm sixteen, and I'm not rich. I want it to be personal. Besides, they have money to go to spas and restaurants. So what should I do?

For his mother I was thinking of making a lovely journal to which she can put pictures in...

...And she has plenty of lovely pictures of him.

Im a bloke. Im not bad looking, I dont think. Ive got an ok job. A good sense of humour (ladies, is that really as important as everyone says it is?) The frustration is driving me insane. Seriously. Ive stopped drinking as my bitterness always gets the better of me, and I say stupid things. A large of me of me wants a relationship with someone special, someone who will love me for who I am, flaws and all. But another part of me just wants to have sex. It's a massive crutch I cant get over. I can't see myself as a man, I have serious self esteem problems. It's not a matter of just ticking a box. But I need to do this before I go completely crazy. So what should I do? Put out a personal ad: "Ladies, Im desperate and have very low standards"? Any advice?

Whenever my family gets together my sister starts to bring up stuff that embarasses me. I must admit I was sort of a brat as a child, but no more so than most normal kids; we didn't get along very well as kids. She always brings up things that I did when I was like 12 years old (or even younger!!!) and we are in our 20's now! She brings up things in front of family and friends that either make me look like a bad person or embarass me (or both). I don't understand why she would want to do this...how can I get her to stop this without getting into an argument with her? I have brought it up to her in the past but she just says that I am freaking out about nothing...I guess I feel like she is being sort of passive-aggressive. Why would she want to make me look bad in front of others? We get along really well now that we're adults, but when we spend too much time around each other (like we will be this week for Christmas!) this is when her behavior starts. How can I deal with this?

I am planning to get married in April 2007. I had no idea that i could ask my brothers to be in the wedding. I thought that i was the one in charge of getting my bridesmaid together and my fiancee was the one who needed to get his men together...since i dont have sisters i figured it was up to him to decide his close friends to be up there with him. My dad found out none of my brothers will be in the wedding and he got very hurt...now the problem is that he already has 5 guys, and i have my 5 girls........our wedding is in a few months, is it still okay, to just go ahead and add all 3 of my brothers? HELP!

They are all free of drugs, don,t smoke and only social drinking. They live in their own homes. We have been good parents, helped each one out as we seen the need. The youngest son, the most.This year the oldest son came to us in tears, bottom line,borrowed $85,000 and at his request, interest free. Now because we tred to tell his Venzavelian wife if she would cut the maid service she could save more. We were all sitting around the table,son included and their 3 children. Not a word was said then, but later I learned that I offended her, and now we are no longer welcome in her house. This was July 4th. What a mess.

I am in a relationship and wish to consider a celibate relationship with my boyfriend ( I am considering becoming an Ecist - a form of Buddhism/Taoism). Dear Friends,

Yahoo Answers really helped me with babysitting. I realize this is dumb to be asking this late, but it is what happens.The girl, 9, is a scholarly type; I have bought her a Bible, books, and similar before. The younger,5, is lively and intelligent too. They will be getting clothes--and I might have trouble getting their sizes.

Have not been around children a lot. I might guess with boys rockets and flying saucers might be in the ball park, but not for typical girls. They are healthy and active, but do not seem particularly interested in sports. They don't have access to a computer, therefore items in that area would not be good.

I have a general idea of what they have. I would spend about up to $25, if I could be fairly sure they would like it. Christian items would be a possibility. A number of toys, games would be good.

Thoughts much appreciated. Merry Christmas to all!
