Try to give him a gift like pensil case, a note book, or anything you think you want to give. In this case, may be he'll change his attitude more better in school.

There is this really cool electronic pen that takes notes for you and can even help you with math problems!! It is a lot of fun and might make school easier for him. I think you can find one at Brookstone or a store like that!
