I am currently 19>& I go to college. I don't have a G.friend and I never had one. I just wasn't ready.
if you are to marry someone, you got to have a courtship for some years to get to know them better for some years. What age should you start to date a future marriage mate.

I would prefer a mature comment please probably from experienced ones and parents.

Whenever I disagree with him he pouts,and tells me I will not listen,its because I do not agree with his dicissions.this is a joint relationship not one way his way,If I say something in a way he does not like he will shut me out for days and weeks on end.It feels so abusive,I cant take the rejection much more.Any advice.

My girlfriend has been asking me to get my head shaved for a long time but I never did that.But I am planning to shave my head this new year eve for her and make this new year eve a memorable day for her.What in your opinion is the best way to go abou it and why?

Tell her in advance about my idea and showing up on the new year eve with a shave head...

Surprise her on the new year eve by showing up with a shaved head....

i tryed for 2 weeks to get my bf to go to a cencert with me that was only playing for 1 night.2 days before the concert i finally got he to agree to go.there was 2 showings but i could only go to the first showing because of my job and told him this when he said he was calling to book the tickets.well he calls me back and said the first showing was sold out but he and his friends got tickets for themselfs for the second showing!he never even cared to go in the first place it was my idea but when he found out his friends were going he wanted to go.to make maters worse more seats opened up for the 1st showing and told him i wanted to go and he got all mad and said he already had tickets with his friends for the second showing.after 3 hours of fighting he said he will go to both showings but hes now treating me like crap and will make the concert hell for me for sure.what should i do?

My parents are always so busy. They work hard. And they don't get to see each other much, 'cause my mom works in the morning and my dad works at night, and one leaves before the other gets home. They try their best to get together so all of us can go somewhere. And*pant*pant* I was thinking of giving them a gift. ONE gift. Any ideas?

I have often wondered about this: why do we feel the need to search for a significant other? Is it about wanting to know someone else thinks we are special and beautiful?

but I cannot help but be a little effected by it now. We once had a conversasion about not enjoying porn, how it is degrading and how it's a form of cheating if the other does not agree to it. Well he knows I don't approve of it so he lied to me about not looking at it. I then found his porn searches. I confronted him and he swears he doesn't need it and that our relationship is worth more. But he's lied to me about it in the past. I can't help but feel a little hurt by it still. I know I should be over it but I can't help but feel hurt. How do I get over this?

Okay, I have liked this guy I met in grade school and he liked me too, but then we hardly saw each other. He got over me, and has a girl friend, but I still like him. I have tried to get over him but my friends can't help me. They started telling me that if I can't get over him, It's meant but he said he doesn't like me that he has a girl friend. Then my friends started calling him Mr. Potential, but he found out and now things are bad. We have a lot of the same classes so I have to see him all the time. Not even the winter break from school is helpping. And now that the whole grade knows every one is talking about it along with my other problems. I really need good advise and not the kind I get from a Counselor. My friends give me enough of that.

Ok. I did it. I signed up for a local single board over the internet.

I keep on reading where the 5'0" woman wants the 6' or taller guys.

In any case, what to say? I'm not going to lie but what are some dos and don'ts when in comes to chatting with ladies over the internet?

What are some good questions? Should I do a "laundry list" of the things they may like when I respond? Are short "Hi, my name is.... Write back as I'd like to learn more about you" better than 1 page treatise on who I am?

I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years now, he normally gets good gifts for me, like clothes or money,etc. This christmas he got me a DVD much less it was Nacho Libre, I do not particulary like this movie, yeah its funny, but its not like I was raving over it! We opened our little gifts last night because we are going home for christmas and didnt want to bring alot of junk. I didnt know what to say, but thanks. Is he trying to save his money for someone else? Or is he just stupid? Dont say Im rude and its a gift and the thought counts, blah blah. Me and my ex just broke up a week ago. We did it on mutual terms, but i think i'm suffering more than he is because he is just that type of person who won't let anything bring him down. We broke off because we thought that we needed this break to see more of the world/ surroundings. But we still feel for each other. My fiance and I have 2 very pushey sisters.
His acts as if there shagging, by demanding his time constantly and is jelouse if he turns her down to do something with me.she also spends to much time dwelling about there childhood and brings him down about it. not to mention that she mothers him! yuck! she is his younger sister, to me she seems to needy. and always want to be at the center of attn.

My sister always calls to ask for money, always needs something, never looks for me unless she needs something. and disapproves of my fiance and is always trying to make me pick here over him, for instance inviting me and my son over for dinner and not him. she bad mouths him to my family and uses him as well when she needs something. when we got ingaged she asked if my ring was fake insted of tell me it was nice.

he thinks we need to leave the state to escape family i think we need to find a middle ground with theses two? can anyone help?
we already use the word no, it makes it worse.
