i know i do ..even if i travel around and the signal gets lost especially in some rural /desert areas.. i panic like crazy coz i'm so afraid if anything happens u cant call out for help..

No. I don't understand why people have to be connected all the time. The only reason I have a cell phone is to let people know I've been delayed when going somewhere. Most of the time, I leave my cell phone home.

Cell phones now have become such a necessity, that's why people feel lost without one. You always think too, if you don't have service this will be the one time something bad will happen. But deep down you know it wouldn't, bc we lasted so long without them before. But YES I do feel lost.. no contact,... no safety ...nothing...it's sad lol :(

Well, even with the phone, you cannot rest easy. The person whom you are trying to call for help may not respond. First of, most the fears are baseless and I would suggest that instead of freaking out, try to calm down and breath deep and try to figure out what to do when that "anything" happens.

Yeah, I always need my phone for me to feel secure. I always get paranoid that someone might need help or I might be in trouble.
