I never make the first move. I wait for men to talk to me, ask for my phone number, etc. Am I losing out on chances to date or am I doing the right thing?

Definately make the first move. You might be skipping some good opportunities. But don't be all aggressive, just send him a drink or initiate the convo and let him take it from there. If he doesn't then move on, it wasn't worth it.

You are absolutely missing the boat here! Personally, for me, it's not about a particular look. What's really attractive to me is a girl with self confidence above all else. I'm not particular when it comes to a girl's physical attributes such as body style, eye color, hair color or style and definitely not the clothes. But a girl must have self-confidence.
Most of all, I like a girl who knows what she wants and how to get it. You girls have these special little ways of letting us guys know you are interested in us without necessarily coming on like a cheap whore. Things like moving in close enough to let us smell your perfume, flashing a bright smile, a quick glancing bit of eye contact, a gentle touch of the hand (especially on my bicep, chest or abs) these things send all the right signals to a guy while still allowing a girl to maintaining her lady like dignity. But the bottom line is, a girl that has the confidence to know what she likes and how to get it can be especially alluring!!! If you don't have self-confidence, it's not going anywhere with me.

I'd say yes, but usually girls think the same way, so if you don't ask them they may be waiting for you to make the first move, that's what happened to me. Girls are usually a little shyer than guys, so usually we end up making the first move anyway.

Yes, you can make the first move.
We guys don't always take to signs so we tend to move on sometimes or never know your interested.
So I'd say your losing chances, because he could be looking at someone else.

I love it when a woman comes on to me.Makes me feel like I am the king of the world, unfortunately my wife keeps bringing back down to earth.

Some guys are nervous about approaching a girl especially if she's good looking. I'd never have found my girlfriend of over one year if she hadn't approached me via the internet. If you like someone, let him know.

It depends on what you mean "first move" and how far you take it. If you mean asking a guy out? Sure, we love it! But to come on to us like a prostitute... we don't like that. Just don't take it too far and you'll be fine.
