I am 5mo prego and the baby father and I are not together anymore. He tried to deny he was the father and well when we broke up I had told him that I don't need him for anything and to not worry about me putting him on child support because I don't want anything from him. My sister thinks i'm stupid if I don't put him on child support, becasue then I'm giving it to him easy. What do you think?

I fell for a girl I worked with. Problem being she was married. Aside from that she was damn near everything I have ever been looking for. Nothing ever happend or even came close to happening. At one point I had asked what was wrong with me from a girls perspective. At first she just kept telling me nothing. After a few tries, she finally told me that me opening doors, always paying, and doing everything to make her happy had me and her been together would make me not a challenge. It bothered me for months untill I finally brought it up again. She said the same thing again and she said if her husband acted that way she would have broke up with him. It kinda hurt as I had thought that was one of the reasons she had told me she had a crush on me. At first she told me she thought it was sexy. Its kind of disheartening knowing that there are girls out there that think like that and her being the exact type of girl I look for. So is that actually something girls think and should I change?

I accidentally found my christmas stash and found a travel mug, a planner, and a band t-shirt (I have never worn a band t-shirt). My husband has been very emotionally abusive and our marriage is leading to divorce. He is active duty in the Army and we have two small children. The oldest is mine from a previous marriage. The thing is, I dont want to file for separation or divorce until I am certain that I will have custody of the kids. He tells me that they will give him full custody because he is working and I'm not. I really think that it is in the best interest of the children if theyre with me considering that I nurse and care for them and he is away most of the time. If we were to separate, I would live with my parents and work until we were able to get on our own.
I was wondering if theres really any chance of him getting full custody, or is he just using it as a way to keep me from filing. Please help me with any info you have: will be greatly appreciated.

should i buy gifts for my boyfriends family?...i'm not close with any of his sisters...only one has spoken to me twice for the year and the other one does not like me. He does have nieces and nephews. Should i buy them something? Basicly, i haven't seen them in a year and I'm not close to any of them. Do you think child support should be monitored ?

I saw something on tv today where this guy refused to pay his exwife the support out of fear she would use it to buy things for the new baby she is carrying which is not his. I was surprised when dr phil( I rarely watch ) told him it was none of his business what she spent that money on.

I think if someone has to pay child support, the person receiveing it needs to be able to prove they are spending it on their kids, receipts on what not. I mean child support is not supposed to be paying the mortgage or cell phone bills of the other adult mom or dad.

DO you think child support when given should be able to be monitored and if it's not used in the best intrest of the child it should be cut off unless the person paying buys what the child needs?

So I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. For the first year 1/2 we didn't have any worries. Now we are going thru one thing after another. Money is very tight with him right now, because he is trying to pay his bills and get his car fixed. The only problem is that he works in construction and there will be 2 or 3 days were he doesnt work. I get so frustrated with him about his job, but he trying to get out of it. He will spend hours online applying for jobs and calling people, but he hasn't had any luck. Now his car is getting fix and he is insurnce is due. I have already paied one of his bills and I want to help him out buy paying his car insurnce. Plus he is dieing to go back to college and get a degree but he doesn't know how he can make it witht he job he has now. Does anyone have any tips for my man, he wants to go on with his life but he doesn't have any luck and doesn't know where to start. Plus am I wrong for helping him out??

They have been divorced 3 years. They have 2 children (ages 7 &8) We will call him "Peter' She is remarried but calls Peter for everything. She lost her cell phone and called Peter, not her new current husband. Peter even went to her house to help bake cookies with the kids and the kids ended up doing something else and the two of them had some wine and visited and baked all day. They work together and she askd him to lunch and to go Christmas Shopping with her and he did. He says he loves me. The both admit that they were never in love only married because it was the thing they thought should be done when they found out she was pregnant. I don't think he realizes what she is doing or that he is allowing it. I want him to do everything he can for and with the kids. He even allows her to dictate what nights of the week he will have the kids even if she is not traveling. and it changes daily. what do I say to him to make him realize he will never have a relationship with this issue.
