Like there's a partie 2 streets away in our neighborhood's park and i just wanna go say hi to my freinds but i dont know if i should call my mom first even though im only gonna be gone like for 10 mintues. what should i do?

Depends on your Mom. It probably wouldn't hurt to at least call her and let her know. It will show responsibility on your half, and just in case she doesn't care that you go....it will probably make her feel good knowing that you think of her and don't want her to worry.

It's always good to, just to build the trust foundation. After awhile she'll see that you can make responsible desicions and won't require the phone call.
I'm 23 and I still call my dad when I'm visiting his house and I leave to go somewhere. It's just habit, plus what if something would happen?

Yep. Never hurts to let Mom know where you are headed. Anything can happen. It's always comforting to know the whereabouts, even if it's for 10 minutes.

Yes, I think you should call her. If you make her aware of where you will be at she will not worry and she will respect you for letting her know. If you do things behind her back she will not trust you and may prohibit you from doing things in the future.
