Why is it that people in the UK think that people whom claim benefits are somehow taking something away from them personally . Wouldnt you still have to pay all the taxes etc .Even if there wasnt a benefit system in place .?

ok i broke up with my ex girlfriend of 4 yrs... for about a month we kinda talked and she told me about yahoo answers and how cool it was...so i checked it out and came across her questions... and i found out that she was looking for older guys.... so i was sitting on this information for about a week and it was eating me up inside that my ex was already over me and trying to bang old dudes... so i let myself get seduced by an ugly chick which i regret ever doing...and then she asked me if i had been with some 1 and i didnt want to lie to her....now she completey cut me off telling me never to call her or try to see her ever again.... was i wrong in doing what i did..? and if im not wrong should i call her ?

Alright the day after thanksgiving they were upset because he didnt send the evening part with them on thanksgving, they came into our home we got into a confrontation, they tried to get him to leave and move back home with them (he stayed) now they are trying to act like nothing happend and he still talks about them to me, I dont want to hear anything about them ( i mean they only came in our apt and broke doors and insulted me ) what should I do? And now with christmas coming around how should this work, I dont want to be like them and try making him choose, but now its like they are making him think his grandfather's health is failing, and he's just fine, what should I do? Who should he listen to the most anyway? A wife or the family? I am just wondering how this all looks from a different point of view, whats funny is I really tried to kiss their butts from day one, but for only this to happen... now what?!! :/

My boyfriend and I have been dating 8 months and I am pretty sure that he is going to purpose to me really soon. I'm still in school and he isn't. My whole family absolutely adores him and I know that they would be very happy if we got married. We love each other more than anything else in the whole universe and I think he is just the most amazing guy. I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 17 - turning 18 in 3 months.
He got kicked out of his house and doesn't have any friends that can take him in.

I'm trying to get an apartment so that he can live with me while we both go to school and work. But since he's not 18 yet is there anything we can do to avoid being denied an apartment???

Living in the car is really hard and especially because its FREEZING up here in the midwest....and it especially makes it hard to get looking nice for job interviews. Its only been one night but where are we supposed to go? My mom and sister and brother (one state below us) won't let us stay with them because we're not married yet because he's not 18.

Is there anyway to get around the both people have to be 18 thing to get an apartment?????? Let me know pleeease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this sounds stupid or made up but its true so please please give me any advice or knowledge you have because I hate sleeping in the car every night...

I've done a couple minor things in teh past, and my parents are already incredibly over protective. It's impossible to get them to listen to me, because they always think I'm deceiving them. I don't know how to completely win their trust, and it really bothers me because I've had multiple restrictions put on me because they think i'm lying, or because they think i'm trying to break rules. I'm a shy and soft-spoken person, but I'll sporadically open up to some people for a quick moment. Normally I'm VERY quiet but I will occasionally open up. I imagine that it is somewhat like what a snail does. I'll come out of my shell for a few minutes, then quickly go back in. When I do open up though, I find that I talk really fast and feel as if I'm rambling. Like today, I started talking to someone I'm usually very quiet around, which is probably a good thing because they actually heard me speak. But I realized that I was talking a mile a minute and I don't even know if what I said made sense. I'm wondering if I totally turned this person off or if I will now become an annoyance. I want to make more friends and open up to people, but I'm afraid of turning them off.

Is talking fast a common thing among shy people who try to open up? Why does this occur? Are people turned off because of it and do they find it annoying? Or will they get that it's b/c of shyness?

i have been seeing this man for 4 months and i have been marred befor and so has he .I feel i love him and he did tell me he loved me but we broke up and he told me he dose not want to get close and he will never say he loves me again ! He will not say if he did love me or not now and he dose not like my one guy friend
he thinks my friend wants more from me . I do love this man and
he did tell me we would not be more than friends but we still talk ,email and tex ever day and we are still sleeping to gether and in the late hours we will call me to just be with him. I dont know what to do ! He told me he dose not know if he could love again.
