Umm, depending on the how long your fingers, are and how old he is (and how hard you were squeezing it, and how hard it was at the time), that sounds about normal sized.
Is it possible that they guy you were with previously was an unusual size?
For an adult male (over about age 20), the average penis size is about 6" long and about 4 3/4" in circumference (i.e. about 1 1/2" across).
