yes I feel that it is to young because there is alot to having a boyfriend and I feel that 11 is to young and that when I was 13 and had a boyfriend when we broke up I feel I was to young for the emotions that it brought with it . Also that when you go to school there are alot of things to deal with. Go have fun and live like an 11yr old

Your mom is right.
You're at an age where you can't possibly figure out the complexity of a real romantic relationship. Not to mention... what exactly is the point? So you can tell your friends you have a "boyfriend"? You're too young to drive, so you can't go anywhere. You're too young to work, so you can't really date. You should be focusing on yourself before trying to focus on anybody else.
You may feel that you're old enough, but honestly, enjoy what you already have while you can. I bet you have great friends, and having a boyfriend will take you away from them.

It's not too young to have a friend who happens to be a boy. But your mom is right in that you are way too young to understand the complex emotional ties that a real gf/bf relationship involves. Trust your mom on this one okay?

I think it's okay...
but I'm probably a bit bias because I've been with my boyfriend since I was almost 12. It worked for me though.
But most of the time, it doesn't.
It just depends on the level of maturity between the two.

Guys are sometimes fun. But for someone who is still young, you should experience other joys in life than guys right now. Do more things that you love to do, and do them with your girl friends. Hang out with them more, because later in life you will need them by your side when you have guy problems. Good Luck! =)

no way im 11 and i hav a bf and so do most of my friends !

Yes, definitely, yes. You are too young to even know what dating is. And you should be busy being friends with guys, not dating them.

depends on the person and the relationship, but personally I think it's a little early. 13 would be a better age.

it all depends on your responsibility, respectfulness,etc. if your mom dont think that you're old enough,then youre 2 young. but, me personally, i think that youre at the perfect age.
