By school do you mean high school or college?
Think about your life ahead as if he were not in the picture. Would he make a good business partner - because marriage is a business as well as a love connection. Do you have similar values on parenting, sex, religion, travel, education etc.
I would wait until you have finished this phase of your life to start another one. Be careful about wanting to please your parents. They are not moving in with him.

How old are you? How old is he? Do you both have jobs? Are you in school? Get practical. Wait some, sweetie -- you can always get married. Oh, and use Birth Control... there is nothing that will flatten out your love faster than a new baby before you have time to be a couple.....guaranteed. Just read the questions on this site.... amazing how stupid people are. " I loved my bf so much. we now have a baby, and he is always out running around with his friends, while I am at home, stuck. I can't go anywhere. We have no money. Help me. What happened??? What should I do????" Read 'em honey.... It could be you.

I am in the same boat only me and my boyfriend have been going out for 9 months. I think it is to early so i told him that i want a long engagement (until I at least get into collage). I think it is early but it shouldn't matter what other people think. It is all about if you are ready. Its a huge step. I hope in whatever it is that you do, you will find happiness.

I don't care how much you think you know, you know nothing... If you are still in high school, you know absolutely nothing. In 10 years, you will regret this... if your marraige lasts that long, that is. The divorce rate is over 50% in this country (US)... higher among people married before 30. You think it won't happen to you... At the very least... wait a year... whatever happiness you have now, this is as good as it gets. the sex? this is as good as it gets. It does not get better, so you need to be sure. 2 years is a decent amt of time.

Um, to marry now is a bit early, but I'd wait at least until u graduate, plus it gives you plenty of time to plan for what you want. My aunt and uncle met , got engaged 2 weeks later, then got married 5 months later, and are happier than ever.

It depends on how old you are. I think that you really need to sit down and think about if this is what you want. I know that time is not an issue if you are really in love with the person and see yourself spending the rest of your lives together.
Good luck!

If you are still in high school, you should wait to get married. You are too young to make a commitmnet like that.

You have your whole life ahead of you. What's the hurry? You should definitely wait.
