U need to ask HER that question. Unless you are serious-like marriage serious- stay away from jewelery though. If you are thinking of marriage, then get her a ring, and pop the question. A Christmas proposal is VERY romantic.

if she is a big romantic, show up at her door unexpectedly and have a dozen red roses in your hand and say "baby, these are for you!" if she is allergic to flowers by her an expensive necklace or promise ring.
