Tonight my daughters pre-school is having their Christmas party for the kids and parents. Would this be a good time to try and hit on some of the young hot single moms that have their kids go there too?

I am a 26 year old single dad, so I would not be cheating if you were thinking that. But I have seen some of the moms that drop their kids off, and some of them are really cute!

What do you all think?

Ok, by "hit on them" I do not mean walking up and saying "If I could change the alphabet I would put U and I together"!

I do mean startigng up a conversation and seeing if they would like to get coffee or something. This question was really more of would this be a good time and place type thing.

And I will NOT be ignoring my daughter for this, she is my little 3 foot nothing world! She will always be the #1 girl in my life, but after being a single dad for about a year now I feel that at least a date wouldn't hurt.

ok,me and this ex were on again off again for a total of 6 years, but i would only say actual together time would be 4 out of the 6 . well we were trying to work on things again last march, but i met my current boyfriend . i cheated on my ex and then broke up with him to be with my current boyfriend . he found out i cheated and hated me. but then he started dating my current boyfriends cousin (which was weird), and told me to keep in touch cause we had too much history to be enemies . well we are phone freinds cause i told him i cant hang out with him cause it wouldnt be right to my bf, and he got all mad about that. then i was talking to him about stuff i bought my bf for xmas and i said i got him naughty stocking stuffers, and my ex got all weird and said i dont need to know that , we arent on that level yet and then hung up with me. my question is , why do you think he even wants to be my friend if it seems to me that he isnt quite ready to be friends yet. what do you think

My husband sometimes says that being a mom is really easy and i dont think so. Its 25 hrs a day i dont even get to take ashower by myself because my hubby says its my job.Every once in ablue moon he will do it and he never watches my son so i can have a break i have to ask my mom to do it sometimes i wish i had the luxury of just doing whatever the hell i want like him. He takes off all the time. But then i look at thomas and realize what i have with him is so much more special than freedom. I just wish i could stop being so frustrated with his dad and get more help But how?

Ok I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't really find anyway that would work for me. Theres a girl that I really like and I think she likes me too and she's shy and I also am in a sense. I need to know a way to ask her out without being scared to death about doing it. Like anyway to flirt with her that would be easy for some one who has never really flirted before. Or something like a conversation starter, or just simply a good way to ask her out. Two of my flatmates have recently started ignoring me for no apparent reason. We were fine up until Tuesday night, then one of them stopped talking to me and now the other one isnt talking to me either. I haven't done or said anything to piss them off, but a couple of their friends have been arguing over where to live next year and we all seem to have become caught up in it. Should I confront them or write a letter, or just leave it? I should mention that I can't stand confrontation, but the tension is really bad now, and I dont want to go away for 3 weeks without sorting it out somehow.

Please help! I have to decide today as I'm going on holiday tommorrow!

pregnant and one of my friends called to ask me. I told her I was not and someone lied. So she and I hung out this weekend and she said mean stuff like - "all I could think about was being there for you - cause he wouldnt be". That really hurt my feelings and I just looked at her like WHAT?

She constantly throws in my face what her and her man are doing and how special he is to her and then asks why do I love my boyfriend? Why do I stay with him?

What would you do? I love my bf - no he's not perfect.
She is not the only one, my other friend I went on vacation with her this summer with her whole family my bro and his gf and his gf and my friend are family.
She said my bf could not come and the answer was no.
Then this week she asked me to ask him to come to a Christmas party. Last time I did this she introduced him to a girl who he started hanging out with a lot. He was not interested in her but - still hurt my feelings.
Why do my friends do me this way and what do I do?

My husband and I separated because of many reasons (none to do with cheating, abuse or loss of trust). Once he was on his own for a while he says he realized how he took advantage of me and claims he is a changed man. He promises he can treat me differently and misses me a lot. I had a best friend(a girl-kandis) for four year,& in the past we have been more,we broke up & Said that we would just stay friendsThen I met my b-f Quentin,We have been dating for a while,in june kandis came over.We all Got high, & My old feelings for her came back,we started hanging on each other.he sai he didnt care what we did,If he didnt see it then it didnt happen.He went to onther room.her & I started having sex for the first time.he walked in & walked right back out,then left & came back.After Mine & her buzz was over & we realized what we just did,I went & talked to him.He was pissed. after she went home He never wanted me to talk to her again.Just the other day I seen Kandis Walking IN a highway,I stop to see if she was ok,& we ended up talking for 1hr then I went to see Quentin & told him I needed to be honest.He got pissed & mad the statment that we must have been f-ing.I havent talked 2 him in a week.he hasnt called or anything.what do i do.Is it over?

I don't get it.
Is it me, or can noone stay married? Is there somthing in the air? I know we live in (what I call) an ADHD time, we want "everything" & we want it "NOW", I get that, the problem is, I'm not like that, I get choked up when I hear about a cple thats been married for 40 years, & they're still happy! What r they doing that the rest of us aren't? I desperately want that! I've evn tried to fasion my life to position myself better to attain that, I chose a career thats 9-5 (no military, cops, or sales), I shied away from anything controversial (photographer, reporter, etc)...I could go on & on. I've been around the block, I've already been married & divorced & I truly recognize what I did wrong. So I thought long & hard before marrying again, we both r the same age, come frm stable families, r diverse enough to keep things interesting, bt the same where it counts, but we argue nonstop, & neither will budge, we usually just give up instead or "fixing" anything.

how is this different than love at first sight?

I have felt many forms of love...family, friends, humanity, the opposite gender, god...all requiring relationships to form the love that is there. The phrase "love at first sight" seems contradictory to me. Can anyone help me understand?
