Many times your physical appearance is linked to your physical fitness and then to your feelings about yourself.

If you are always going to be, er, "different in physical appearance from societal accepted norms", either like your self in spite of or because of the way you look.

By getting in shape, you will release a lot of stress from your body (stress in the body can lead to anger and then anger turned inwards becomes depression) so not only will you look better but you'll genuinely feel better about yourself.

If a little bit of excercising, not smoking, eating right and trying to better yourself is not for you, then the only other thing you can do is just accept yourself the way you are.

You can start with loving yourself. Just look in the mirror and physically tell yourself that you love you. Take pride in your appearance, if that means getting a make-over, go ahead and do that. Locate people that have the same physical appearance and see how they carry themselves, and what makes them happy, and just see other ways to love you. And if it involves weight, lose it because you want too, not because of the criticism of others.

Shyness does not creep me out. I style of like whilst a guy is shy, and plus in case you acquire actual visual attraction down then you definately're good for my section with the full shy and robust-looking combination. And the boldness element... i comprehend what you advise. i used to be completely and thoroughly shy and quiet. under no circumstances concept-approximately my self as grotesque whilst i replaced into youthful yet prevalent. Now i comprehend that i'm eye-catching and pondering I even have cyclothymia I even have moods of depressions, each so often it incredibly is the sole element i will bear in suggestions. do no longer anticipate females to come back or that makes you look cocky. detect a woman, make her sense eye-catching, and she or he'll make you sense staggering in return. x

First of all don't think about how you look in comparison to others. This is the hardest thing to do. You need to joke around with your friends about you body and you should feel better. The sooner you quit thinking of your body as ugly and laugh about it the better. Have your friends support you and every time you mention anything wrong about yourself tell them they are to jump on you for it and tell you it doesn't matter to them what you look like. Every girl is different. Some girls are meant to have slim toned sexy bodies while others, like you and I, are always comparing ourselves to it going how can I look like that. Blame it all on genetics girl. You cannot help the way you look. Take a look at the friends you have and how they think of you. They don't care what youlook like, at least they shouldn't. Trust me. I wasn't very confident about myself because of my height. Now I joke about it all the time and what is even worse is that most of my friends are 5'10" to 6' plus feet tall. It is really hard to not look at myself and go I am sooooo short and I am horrble looking. Just because I am barely 5'1" doesn't mean I should be self - conscious. In fact it is a running joke in my band that since I played tenor sax and I am soooooo short I might as well be playing baritone sax, which is a much larger instrument, because a judge saw my height in Marching Band and said the tenor saxes and Baritone sax need to work on their angles and other things. Well to tell you the truth we have no one marching Baritone Sax. For a long time I hated being short but once I started joking about my height I have friends and I am not so upset anymore. Whether your fat or too short or have a lot of pimples or whatever else is your issue, don't look at yourself and say I am too ugly for anyone to date me or no one likes me because I am ugly. Instead, relax and have fun. Joke around next time anyone mentions anything about your body.

Go to the gym! I go every morning. I feel such a difference in the way I feel when I go regularly versus not going regularly or not going at all. I have more energy, I feel like I am living a more healthy lifestyle, and I look better because it helps me lose weight. Try it! I promise after you get used to going, it'll change the way you look and feel!

Always have that personal hygiene - comb you hair, take a shower, wear clean clothes, be positive and have a character. Go out and socialize. If you fall, learn from your mistake. If you think you're too fat, hit the gym, eat healthy food, and no crash diets. Remember No Pain, No Gain!

hmmm good question.
you know, self esteem comes from within.
you are just gonna have to tell yourself everday, do affirmations, tell yourself that you are worthy of happiness. tell yourself how beautiful you are (inside and out) find something about urself that you like...sometimes physical alterations can help, but to truly lift your spirits and self esteem you are the only one that holds the key to making yourself happy.

next time you pass by a mirror, look at urself and dig deep down into the depths of urs soul and find out who you really are and what makes you happy.

trust me, it works...my mantra is "IM BEAUTIFUL, DAMN-IT"

Volunteer, give to others. Don't focus on your physical appearance. Focus on the other traits that you have to offer the world!!
