There isn't any timeline. You will need to see the reaction and attitude of the other person. If there are signs being shown, e.g. accepts your invite for a cuppa or whaterever, then that is a clear sign he/she is interested to pursue the relationship to the next step.

I am in the same situation and just posted a similar question. If you told this person how you feel and they have expressed there feelings to you then I would assume its up to the two people. But how long is too long when you find yourself falling in love with this person?

That's definitely a tough one. I thought I had met "Mr Right"... but after 5 years of online friendship and a year and a half of a combination of personal, phone and online contact, he decided I was no good.
