I have 3 sisters and we are putting together a dvd for each of our parents for the holiday...kind of like a slide show with pics of all of us girls through the years. we are having a little trouble trying to figure out some good songs to put on each dvd to play in the background. so far, for my mom, we have:

we are trying to come up with about 5-6 songs for each dvd. and these are the songs that are ruled out....

I have not been single in 8 years. I am so lost. I moved to Denver to get a new life and I was going to stay single to find myself and figure out who I am. But I am so depressed without a girl in my life. I tryed to meet some girls, but I am so shy I just don't say anything. I feel like an idiot. But, I want to be happy and am scared that I will go through the same crap I wentr through for 8 years. What do I do?

My wife cheated on me several times. At the time I loved her so much I told her I'll forgive all of it if she promises not to do it again. We got back together. Then she went on a drug binge and wasn't taking care of our children, so I left her. A few months later she told me she had changed and so we're back together again. Now she still has lots of guy friends on the side. They only text occasionally and it's usually just hi. But given that I've been cheated on several times I don't think she should have guy friends on the side. Now I don't want to be with her anymore, but I can't leave her because I don't want her to blame a divorce on me. And though I don't trust her I can't leave her because of the past things since I said this was a fresh start.

My dad was a policeman for over thirty years. He was a local bobby for a while, and then progressed up the ranks. I was always so proud of him that he was one of thr 'good guys', and confused at scholl when people would take the piss out of me becuase of his job.

My dad has seen such horrible things in his job, children mutilated by their own parents, rapes, murders, everyone he spoke to everyday would lie to him, but even then he kept a real hope and respect for the people he honestly felt he was protecting in some small way.

He got thrown through a window, had his arm broken, was beaten so badly once that we almost lost him.....and all because he wanted to do what he felt was RIGHT.

Nowadays people are so rude to the police, and yeah, some of them are total idiots like any human being, but if you woke up tomorrow and your house had been burgled, who will you go to for help? IIf you or someone you know and love is raped, who will you expect to be there to catch the bastards?

I sometimes come across people that lie about little things, which there is no need to, I cannot understand why people would do that,
I mean if you have to lie about something make it worth your while,
but to lie about crap and think its ok to do so, which eventually turns out to be, what is ever in the dark will come to light anyway.

Hey everyone. My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two months. We spend a lot of time together. Within the past three weeks he's been spending a lot of nights with me as he is helping me through the death of my father. He has accumulated a nice amount of clothing and personal items in my house. I met a really nice guy about 4 weeks ago. He's very sweet, and probably the nicest guy I had ever met. There is NOTHING between us, nor will there ever be. We are JUST FRIENDS. Let's call him "Bob". Well, yesterday, as I was talking to Bob, my older brother (in Bob's grade) was in the room. I happily pointed out to Bob, "Hey! You know that's my brother?" Bob couldn't believe it. "He's what?? Are you serious"--then he looks like he's about to say something then says, "No! I won't say anything." I was a bit confused.
The next day I pleasantly ask Bob why he couldn't believe my brother WAS my brother. He didn't want to tell me why at first. So I ask him: "Is it 'cause we don't look alike?" "Is he quiet?" "Are we way different?" "Do you know him?"
I ask again, "Is he quiet?"
Finally, Bob says, "No! He's loud and-- and annoying!"
I am too shocked to reply. "Oh, really?" I chuckle and dive into the Girl's bathroom. Later that day, I even said Hi to Bob and he said hi back, as always.

I took off for a few days to gain some sanity (we weren't speaking)
well, he wasn't speaking to me - anyway - I called my house to check for messages - he answers and tells me he put all my stuff in storage and not to bother coming back - here's the hard part - everything in that 2 bedroom apt. is mine (with a few exceptions of course) how can I get my stuff? I don't care about the breaking up part - it's been long overdue - but, why did he have to be so childish about this? I planned on leaving most of the stuff behind because he has an eleven yr old daughter he sees every-other weekend. Now I feel I should just take all my stuff and be rid of him for good. What would you do?

this guy has been chasing me for years.even when i was in a serious relationship with my ex.

i ended my relationship with my ex 8 months ago.i was with him for 6 years,engaged and we had our own place.my ex has moved away.

As a girl named Annie walked outside her house. Annie had no siblings so in fact she was an only child. Her mom worked as a doctor and the father was a surgeon. The nationality of the family was that they were Jewish. On a beautiful morning Annie got dressed, ate breakfast and asked her mom “will anyone pick on me because I’m Jewish” and her mom said “no, honey don’t worry I’m sure they will treat you as if you are one of them”. She asked that because that was her first day of high school and things like racial and racism happen. When Annie got to school she made a couple of new Jewish friends and from other nationality too. Two months passed on by and a new girl came to Annie’s school. The school that Annie was in was called Laurnhill. The new girl was black and her name was Jenny. Jenny on the same day she arrived she picked a fight with Annie. What happened was that Jenny went up to Annie and asked her “where do you come from” and Annie said “Israel” and Jenny said “so, you’re Jewish” and Annie said “yes, I am and I’m proud of it”. The reason she asked Annie where she came from was because the school she was in before she got expelled from was because she had beaten up a student because of her race which was that she was Jewish too.

So, then Jenny started to call her names like you’re a fag and your whole family is a fag etc,,,, later Annie said “no I’m not that, so don’t call me that or else” then Jenny said “or else what” and then Annie said “I will go and tell the teacher and get you in trouble” and then Jenny said “I am not afraid of you and I’m not afraid of them”. After them swearing at each other Jenny threw a punch at Annie because she didn’t like Jews. Afterwards Annie ended up in the hospital and Jenny was expelled from that school too. And Jenny’s family sent Jenny to a boarding school for just black girls. And Jenny’s parents were very terrified for her life .so they sent her away. Anyway it took Annie a couple of months to recover and go back to the same school to be reunited with her friends and to show them that life is a struggle no matter who you are or where you are. Also that you need is courage and strength to come back to the same place where everything happened and learn how to live with it and to show that stuff happen but you learn from it like: when you say “I will go tell the teacher” you actually do it and not being involved in the fight in which nobody would have gotten hurt and that you can also prevent it. Annie’s family was helping her recovery and reassuring her that if something in her gut does not feel right just walk away like in this case she could have went to the teacher and got help for Jenny . This kind of helps her through the time she is at school surrounded by people she knows that she can rely on. Also so that everybody to can get rely on the teachers, principle and any adults. To make sure that they are safe when they are at school.

Well i woke up up this morning and i thought we were having an earthquake! Then i realised it was only my bed that was moving, i looked under it and saw father strapped up to the undercarriage with elastic bands and Llama phlegm! He was gyrating really fast, i asked what he was doing and he just looked at me, went red, and made a funny hissing sound, ripped off the bands and ran away!
