my best friend is not really buff but just his sense of humour sweeps me off my feet. am going crazy about him but i'm scared to tell him.he doesn't have a girlfriend at the moment and that gives me a chance right?, but do you think i should tell now?

Yes, I think maybe you should tell him. It's okay to hint around first though in order to determine how receptive he might be to the idea. You might try asking him casually (when you're alone and both relaxed) if he ever considered whether the two of you would hook up. See what his reaction is. He may tell you something that changes the direction you had planned to take. If so, you'll have a way to still salvage the friendship. good luck

Maybe you should ask to hang out with him one day. Then see what happens. That's what my boyfriend did. Don't ask "Would you like to go to a dinner and a movie with me?" Because that sounds a little too fancy and might freak him out. Just be friends with him and be casual about it.
My boyfriend and I we were also friends for a while before we started dating. Now it's been 10 months. : }

Don't ask him to "hang out" that sounds too friendly. Ask him if he would like to go out to dinner or a movie together sometime and let him know then. Things like that do work out. Its better to know that nothing will happen than going your whole life wondering what could have been. Friends are a great base for couples. At least you know you will be compatible.

You should do soemthing sweet for him and wait for the moment and either ask him or just kiss him. A friend did that for me and it was a great start we still ended up just being friends but it was a great way to show me she really cared.

Be carefull though, you could lose a best friend.
Maybe start by suggesting you do some un friend like things, watch a scary movie and cuddle with him on the couch!

DONT!!!! date him I'm not tryin to ruin your love for him I'm trying to save it I dated a best friend last year and we confessed our love then we grew apart recently and we NEVER talk anymore I lost my best friend in the WHOLE world...

Yes, tell him how you feel, he may feel the same as you. It wont hurt to express yourself, chances are he wants you.
