this guy has been chasing me for years.even when i was in a serious relationship with my ex.
i ended my relationship with my ex 8 months ago.i was with him for 6 years,engaged and we had our own place.my ex has moved away.
i have met up with this guy a few times.he is still chasing me.we have only kissed despite him wanting to take things further sexually.i have stayed at his place a few times.i have been abit of a tease!lol
when i was with him last he asked about my ex.he knew him but they wasnt friends.
after we meet,i dont hear from him for a while.i end up chasing him then i eventually give up cause i dont hear from him.then,he comes back and the whole chase things starts again!
whats going on???
i really really like him.
he says he likes me too and is always complimenting me.he makes me feel really special.he always wants to be with me when we are together

Between chasing you for this long and the being teased by you, I'm sure he's jsut as confused as you are! A few years is a long time to chase someone, he obviously likes you a great deal.
You just have to stop playing games with eachother, just talk to him about how you feel. Chances are, you two will finally get together.

Whoa. Sounds like a lot of head games. You need to step back, decide what it is you really want in a relationship, and ask yourself (objectively) if this guy can provide it. Remember: You can always find someone else! And chances are, the games going on here are probably a part of your individual personalities. If this is the way things are now, they only intensify as your relationship progresses.

Be careful I had a guy chase me for 3 years once and it was just for the challenge in it once I finally gave him a chance and started to like him too he cheated on me and turned into a jerk. Sometimes guys just like the chase.

sounds like he wants to get in your pants. its interesting how things cooled off after you kissed and it didn't progress any further. he must like the chase, and you put up a good one, 6 years long! now that you are interested in him and he sees a tangible relationship with you, its lost its luster and he's not as interested as he once was.

why are you guys playing this game? sounds like the ball is in your court because he spent all of this time chasing you. just tell him how you feel. if his feelings are genuine...then you two should make a happy couple.
