It seems like my social life became non-existent as soon as I was handed my diploma in June. Some of my friends went to college, some moved and others are in serious relationships. I try calling old friends and making plans but everyone is always doing their own thing and everyone has full schedules which makes things even harder. I feel like it's just me and my boyfriend now, which isn't a bad thing but he has friends of his own that he'd like to spend time with And I don't want to be one of those girlfriends that depends on her boyfriend for everything because she has no one else. I think I would be more desirable if I had my social life back.

I find myself hanging out with the people I never particularly cared for all through high school, simply because there's no one else.

Anyone else feel like this?
If so, what do you suggest?

I grew up with this guy but this year he has a girlfriend. I dont want her to feel like im stepping on "her toes" or intruding in their relationship but we have a good relationship and I would really like to get him something. So any ideas out there for a good "friend gift"? It need to be creative or home made some thing along those lines- he is pretty creative him self so I have a lot to live up to! Any ideas would be helpful because that day is coming soon!

My dad (whom i would probably get contact info from) had a fling with, lets call her Belle, about 10 or 12 years ago. A son resulted. My dad has never been a good father, and Belle told him he was not going to be in touch with the son, and that she would let him know how he was doing, but the son would be raised by her husband, as his. When he turns 18, or before if Belle allows it, I would love to get a hold of him and get to know him. I have 3 sisters, and no brothers. I would like for this guy to know he has two half sisters, and be able to see him...does he look like me and my little sister? Does he look alot like my dad? Either way i would definetly go through Belle first, and have her permission. If you were my half brother, do you think you would appreciate knowing your half-sisters existed, or not? Family is the very important to me, and being estranged from a sibling is killing me. Advice, opinions???

ok im almost grown now well i have a year left til im gon from high school or whateva but i get a headache when i wake up this morning and decide to got to school thinking it might get better but to only find out that it doesnt so ileave school and go home and i tell like the dean of school and the lady at the fron desk where im going and i go and im sleep for 4 hours until 3 and obviously since i didnt sign out the school calls my mom and dad. Well my dad comes home and gets in my face about not telling anybody where im going and starts cussing at me and im like ni99a hold on cus u aint been here all this time and now u wanna start acting like a parent and start being concerned so i play basketball and hes like u need to go to practice and i tell him that thats the reason i came home becasue i didnt feel good so were arguing the whole way over there i just wanna know why he starts to act like a parent 16 years into my life.

What steps do you take to keep an argument from getting out of hand? Is there anything you do in particular to "cool down"? When dealing with my soon to be X, I usually walk away and believe it or not drink a big glass of water and cool out. So what works for you?

Its a long story but I would like to be impregnated and I'm a single. Sperm banks have run dry due to recent legislation and they are operating a waiting list.

I have tight timescales and would need to get hold of a donation fairly soon. I'm on a fixed budget so I cannot afford an expensive option.

I understand that there may be some places on the internet where I could get a sperm donation.

Me and my ex-fiance broke up about a month ago. We have known each other for 12 years. He told me he only told me the things i wanted to hear and that everything he said was pretty much a lie...and i am not the 1st girl he has done this to. So we agreed to be friends and be there for each other. He recently got involved with another girl and as upset as I was I still wished him luck. So just the other day I glanced at her profile on myspace and seen all the comments he has been leaving her and recognized ALL of them. It was the same stuff he was telling me. So I just let it go and felt bad for the girl. So then I look again and see he left her the lyrics to "OUR" song (for our wedding). I was furious..so we got into a huge fight and afterwards I sent this girl an email explaining who I was and the situation. I wanted to warn her of the things he is capable of..and the patterns he displays! I did it mostly for self-gratification but also to help this girl out. So was I wrong?

I dont know where they are,their father is unstable and he is a drug addict. I know I have to trust in the Lord but I need other help too. The cops cant help and legal services cant help all because he signed the birthcertificate. I trusted him even after he went to jail to visit with our kids because I thought jail changed people but apparently only people change if they want to. I live in Kalamazoo Mi and Chicago is so bigthat he can be anywhere with our 3yr old son and 4yr old daughter. I have been trying to get him to return them for 7 months. I only talk to his mom and she is going to protect her drug addict son no matter what. My family went to the cops and there was nothing they could do about it either. I dont graduate for about 3 mths now and my school told me if I miss another day I will be dropped from the Medical Assisting program. I cant afford to do that because I want to be able to have something for my children. All four. I have a 9yr old & 7yr old at home also.

theres this guy named justin and i really like him and i noticed that he everyday in ever class i have with him he looks at me and his friends do to and when i stare back at him he turns his head really cutely but he has a gf but he dosent really talk to her anymore occasionally i see her go up to his locker or he goes to hers but today i finnaly got the nerve to talk to him about this teacher getting fired when i talked to him i noticed that he didnt really look at me in the eye he looked at his binder and occasionnaly he would glance up but he is not like that around other girls so does he like me i really dont want to ask him do i break them up or what do i do i dont know im really confused

What I mean by that, is, is it so terrible if you have a family and a husband to have friends that you see and to have interests of your own? Obviously the hubby would be completely supportive and ok with it and the family would be happy!
I ask this because although the family is happy, other people comment that I should be (more or less) chained to the kitchen sink!
Whats your views on this?

access. My older son aged 11 is in tears. He wants longer hair. Their Father has access laid down in a court order. Can I refuse to send them to him if he is threating to cut their hair, and upsetting my older son? He see's them every other weekend. though can be erratic.
