Me and my ex-fiance broke up about a month ago. We have known each other for 12 years. He told me he only told me the things i wanted to hear and that everything he said was pretty much a lie...and i am not the 1st girl he has done this to. So we agreed to be friends and be there for each other. He recently got involved with another girl and as upset as I was I still wished him luck. So just the other day I glanced at her profile on myspace and seen all the comments he has been leaving her and recognized ALL of them. It was the same stuff he was telling me. So I just let it go and felt bad for the girl. So then I look again and see he left her the lyrics to "OUR" song (for our wedding). I was furious..so we got into a huge fight and afterwards I sent this girl an email explaining who I was and the situation. I wanted to warn her of the things he is capable of..and the patterns he displays! I did it mostly for self-gratification but also to help this girl out. So was I wrong?

Partially. To act out of self-gratification is a poor decision. He won't learn, and now while he could learn from you, you have killed that connection.

Remember your audience, she doesn't care what the ex says, the ex is always wrong and she will probably not believe it.

He is rebounding and he does tell the truth in the end, it will come out again.
