this isnt black and white she obviously wasnt happy in first place or i wouldnt have been given the time of day!we have been on holiday with kids and never had a crossed word! at the moment she is currently buying his half of the house but is still struggling with wether she needs to stay with him and be miserable for the kids or move on be happy but split her family. the kids are fine and i have experienced a good relationship with them! and to the fella who said he must be her pal if he wont leave her alone,you are a jerk as if you love someone you dont make them feel so rotten and miserable he knows how she feels he just ignores her and plays with her mind

me and my girlfriend was together for 3 years and 9 months. we broke up 3 months ago. her dad died 2 weeks later. I broke up with her because she told me I didnt matter. I didnt know she meant I didnt matter when shes trying to spend time with her parents. shes 19 years old, Im 23 years old. through out the relationship it was hard for us to see each other because her parents were so strict that we had to sneak to see each other and only was able to talk on the phone 2 days a week. so the anger we got from that would be thrown at each other. but once we realized it we became a better relationship. she says we will never get back together because she felt I wasnt there for her in that stressful time of her dad. I've always been there for her through everything. im her first everything, boyfriend, virginity you name it except for a crush before me. she has a grudge against me, possibly dont like me as a person. my friends say she will come back but i dont know. do you think she will?

ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

I am so tired of calling or e-mailing people to get together for dinner or just for coffee and get the answer "I'm so busy with the holidays approaching, etc., etc." I'm single and most of my friends are single and have no children. I work two jobs and do volunteer work but I can always manage to find a little time to meet with a friend if they want to get together. When are people going to realize how short life is? Isn't there an old saying, "don't put off tomorrow what you can do today?"

I have started seeing a Polish guy, and fallen for him BIG TIME. He likes me too, the only problem is his girlfriend, who he left back in Poland six months ago.

She knows about me, and is seeing other guys while they are apart, but she's coming to England in another 6 months.

I don't know what to do.

Should I stay with him in the hope he'll fall for enough to leave her behind for good?

Or get out now before I really start to love him?

I KNOW he really likes me, but they go back nine years on and off(she actually married someone else when they were split last time, but is now with him again)

I know my boyfriend is getting a ring over the internet. Today the package came, so I went to the website on the package. All the engagement rings are less than $30. Our husbands work together and are well respected public figures. She has told me very detailed encounters of him punching her in the head, putting his hands around her neck, spitting on her, pushing her down the stairs when she was pregnant (causing a miscarriage). He has even done this in front of her mother, cousin and his own father. I understand this should be clear cut BUT she says she wants to work things out and that she loves him and he loves her. How do I handle this? I don't want to get in the middle of their marriage but if he kills her . . . I would not be able to live with myself.

I really like him, he's the sweetest dude I've met. He's different from all the guys I'm used to. He doesn't drink, smoke or curse which I do, (except cursing). He dresses in blazers, neck ties, gators, sometimes denim and button ups. I'm used to thugs, not necessarily your average thug, but a grown man who tends to sag his jeans, rockin the timbs or sneakers, who smokes and/or drink. I'm open to a new lifestyle, meeting different people, coming out of my comfort zone. We've haven't went on a date yet, due to hurdles in both of our lives, but we've had sex once and it was great. My brother pretty much messed up my life completely growing up, as well as my sisters, brothers and moms. i still have many issues thanks to him, as far my self-confidense is concerned. growing up we all dealt with constant physical as well as mental abuse from him.

he got out of jail a few months ago(he was in there for breaking into his girlfriends apartment then threatening to killher). the problem is he is still in his old ways. hes constantly putting everyone around him down or fighting with them or threatening them if not actually hurting them physically. he's so negative about everything, it just brings us all down. last week he even stole money from my mom and sister, another thing thats not out of the regular for him. he refuses to get a job and when he does he wont work and refuses to be "bossed"around. when he finds himself homeles again, which is gonna happen...should we feel responsible for having to take him in when he abuses us, steals from us and tears us down?

Basically me and my ex girlfriend have broken up 5 times over 3 1/2 years. Does this mean its over. We are talking thru our last break up now, but im just wondering if i should try to make it work or just let her go. I was sort of seeing this guy off and on for a bit. I really liked him, and I'm sure he new that. It was hard for us to get together because we were both busy, and sometimes we wouldn't talk for a while. I think we had a really good connection, and potential for something more. He came over one night out of the blue, and well "u know". I'm pretty sure it was a booty call, but it didn't really go well. He couldn't perform, and then went on to say we'll just have to do it over and over again til it's all good. What happened? I've barely spoken to him since. Why did he give me that impression that he would like more, if he didn't? It was like 2 weeks ago. I should probably let go, but I feel I need at least closure. Should I call him and ask if it was just a booty call, or did he want more til that happened? I really like him.
