I've been married for 26 years so I must be doing something right. I send her flowers (delivered at work) for no reason at all. I'll do all the laundry when I have a day off and she doesn't. Go out to places we don't normally do, like hit a comedy club on a Tuesday night. In other words, just be spontaneous. Boredom and familiarity are relationship destroyers. I once even hired a Limo to take her home from work. We both live in the city and use mass transit. She loved that one. Just be imaginative.

If you live together the biggest thing you can do to show your love is to help around the house without being asked. And if you don't live together show that you love her by doing little things. Give her little compliments and be there when she gets off of work with dinner or breakfast or even just some starbucks. Or get her a little gift that applies to her job. Like if she works outdoors get her some warm socks or mittens. Or if she has an office job get her something for her desk that has a pic of you and a cute note. Nothing big or expensive. It really is the little things you do to say I love you.

First, by telling the person how you feel. There is also flowers - red roses, listening and hearing what the other says, calling during lunch or after work to make sure they made it home safely, pampering, sensing when they want privacy and leave them alone. They will call when they need you.
And you can also ask your love what their idea of showing love is and go from that.

You have to show how much you love her better than you can tell her. Action speaks louder than words. Be concerned about her needs. Listen to what she wants. Don't think too much of what you want from her. Think about how to bless her with how you care for her needs.
