I am 24 and currently in a 6 year relationship. Marriage is definately the next step that we will be taking within the next 2 years. I am writing to get this off my chest..Is it really wrong to marry for money? Well I'm not marryin' purely for money..maybe my love is based on money? I know to many it sounds low and disgusting or whatever..And thats fair enough 'cos we all have all own opinions. I know that many of you may say that he deserves better and that he deserves true love but if I was to break up with him, it would kill him.

He is very well off and treats me good and I don't want to end the relationship and struggle through life constantly thinking of bills, morgage payments etc. He does a lot for me and buys me nice things despite how materialistic that sounds. Do people sacrifice true love for financial comfort?..hrm what is true love..Don't they say that there are more there is more than one kindred spirit (or whatever u call it) for a person?..Please advice on this.

He doesn't want to invite them to the wedding because they don't approve of the wedding (Iranian to American). But he won't get married next month based on the excuse that they are visiting. Should I wait until they leave or make an altimatum that we marry regardless of if they're here or not and inform them of the date or I'm leaving?

if kids arent old enough to love and adults also say (and im quoting them) that kids dont know what love is and they arent old enough to then why are they always saying that no one knows what love is a couple of days ago i asked a question like that if you remember and only 3 people had enough sense to say that people can ove at any age even if they were kids and they actually understood but do you know what love is

My ex flirts with my best friend when I am around and it bothers me and he knows that. She said that she has no interest in him because she said that he isnt that attractive at all. Is he doing this on purpose? I told him that we weren't friends but all he said was ok. I've been in a relationship for almost 10 yrs with an overweight girl. she had the bypass surgery 8 months ago and has lost over 120 pounds, which is fantastic & she looks sooooo sexy. She's getting alot of attention & i do understand that she's enjoying it. My problem is that she's not giving me any attention. I know it's time for her light to shine but why cant we shine together. I was there for her when she was huge & thru all her agony and pain. now she is totally stuck on herself. i always compliment her on her new look but she never have a compliment for me. Am i being selfish or do i deserve some attention too. The surgery has affected us both drastically, not just her, which i dont think she understands. please help.

also, who likes me too. I'M NOT SLEEPING WITH OR AT ALL INTIMATE W/EITHER OF THEM. I'd love to have professional photos done and the photog would take photos of me to use on his web site/in promotions, etc. But since I think I like the other guy better, would it be using the photog to get pics of myself when I don't think the relationship w/him will continue much longer? My best friend has recently been caught smoking and dealing pot. He got kicked out of school and now he is going to some sort reform school until the School Board decideds wether he should be expelled or not. He was allways getting drunk and high, acting like a moron. Saying things i know he would not normally say. I havent talked to him for 2 months. I feel bad for him because sometimes i see him, alone, sitting on some bench. Or skating down the road. I feel like im responsible for this in some way. So, theres this guy I like and hes a junior and I'm a freshman and he just moved here, so we became pretty close and realized I had a crush on him. So I told him I liked him.
