I believe you don't need a fancy wedding to express your love. Your sisters wedding should be a special event where she shares and expresses her love for the man she is going to marry infront of close family and friends. Expensive dresses and high priced food doesn't matter......... It's the love that counts. Good luck :)

Dont listen to any of them!! Go to David's Bridal. My sister got her dress for $100 and alterations another $100, so $200 total for a dress is really nothing. If that doesn't work for you, my suggestion is to rent one (which is better in the long run). My sister wore her dress for about an hour, paid $200, and now has no where to put it, and no idea what to do with it. Anyway, you can find some really nice matching shoes and accessories, and even matching brides maides dresses. It'll look like a fancy wedding but you really spent nearly nothing, to what it'll look like.

I don't know what part of the country you live in. If you live in the south in Louisiana or within a couple of hours drive there is a chain there called formals etc. they rent bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses and give you a free pair of shoes. If you don't live close enough try searching for a similar type of store where you live.
If they don't have this type of store try looking for Asian owned clothing stores. In most Asian clothing stores they sell formals that retail between $60 to $85 dollars. The dresses are nice and inexpensive some even sell bridal gowns for $400 or less.

sounds like a puzzling project yet i might want to nonetheless come across a fashion to attend. She gave better than sufficient note (2 years) so if u had purpose to bypass in the first position you may want to've all started saving from the get bypass. a minimum of that is what i might want to do for a relations wedding ceremony. As somebody else stated, take a bus. go away ur bf at abode with the youngsters. a minimum of you'd be there because ure prompt relations. because it really is a large journey it supplies u better reason to bypass visit. If u do not bypass now I imagine ud not in any respect make an attempt to bypass see your spouse and children because u have a majority of those excuses for no longer having the ability to commute, no longer even for a wedding ceremony.

First of all - the bridesmaids shoudl be paying for their own dresses - but finding a good deal is still a good idea! Check out discounts sites online like http://chryscrossbridal.com
Also, check out none-formal stores. My bridesmaids gowns came for a boutique that specialized in jeans and t-shirts. It was actually the only dress they carried that season, but I loved them and they were only $50 each! My cousin got her bridesmaid's gowns at Le Chateau for $75 each and you would never know it! I was also in a wedding a few years ago were we found some goregous blue satin gowns at a small local women's clothing store for $90 each. They looked just as nice as the $300 versions at a traditional bridal salon.

Try a consignment shoppe. If you don't mind second hand, I really don't see a problem with it. Alterations are cheaper than new dresses.
Also, bridesmaids dresses don't have to be bridesmaids dresses. You can check outlet stores for floor length dresses.
If you know someone who is a seamstress maybe you could work out a deal for the dresses to be made.

When I got married the bridesmaids each had their own gown made as close as possible to each other. I had twenty. An the guys each wore a dark suit. Very cheap but still looked great. We had enough money for a trip to Mexico. When you get your gowns sewn or hand made usually they cost less.

that depends on where you are and what your budget is, I picked up 4 bridesmaid dresses for $400. They were in a little shop and I found one on sale, liked it, and talked them into ordering more of the same for the same price. You CAN negotiate on things, when you are getting a couple of them, and people are pretty reasonable when it comes to weddings, we also managed to get discounts on the guys suits!
