you can never get the 100% truth out of your partner, the best you can do is ask but they will probably lie to not hurt your feelings. I think you just need to trust your gut feelings and look at the relationship objectively and see if they are acting differently

you ask him straight out... i mean he IS with YOU now.. that has to mean that he cares about you too... if he has lost interest and wants to seek others he'd do it but not if hes still with you...

you should go to him or talk on the phone and ask him dead serious if he likes you and if your relationship is going somewhere. tell him what you feel and reassure him that it is going somewhere and that you love him dearly and say you wanna talk to him more and be open and know you can trust him.
