also, who likes me too. I'M NOT SLEEPING WITH OR AT ALL INTIMATE W/EITHER OF THEM. I'd love to have professional photos done and the photog would take photos of me to use on his web site/in promotions, etc. But since I think I like the other guy better, would it be using the photog to get pics of myself when I don't think the relationship w/him will continue much longer? What should I tell him? What should I do? Keep in mind, the photog would be getting material o use on his web site. But would it still be wrong of me?

I'll be fully clothed for the photos. They'll be taken in a park in public. They're just regular shots, nothing "sexy" or sexual at all.

Any time someone wants to take a photo of you and they want to publish it, always sign a "model release" IF you are alright with having your photo published anywhre.

Definition of a published photo: If anyone other than the photographer and the person/s in the photo see the photo it is considered published.

If anyone publishes the photo/s without the subjects permission they are subject to litigation and can be sued for large amounts.

If this person is going to make money from publishing your photo/s you are entitled to payment for each photo used.

These are only a couple of the legal aspects of photography....You must decide how you wish to handle the situation and if you want the photo/s published.

What kind of photos are you talking about? If they are nudes, forget it. The only people who don't have to worry about nude pictures of themselves floating around are the ones who don't have to worry about working for a living.

If they are regular photos then tell him without beating around the bush that allowing him to use your likeness for his website is not an indication of a future romantic relationship and that any financial arrangement must be in writing. That should cool his heels.

Always think before you act or sign anything.

If anyone were using anyone, it would be him using you to get free promotional pics for his site. Normally he'd have to pay a model if he wasn't using pics of his customers. He can get you to do it for free, so great. I can't see how it would be a problem.
