He doesn't want to invite them to the wedding because they don't approve of the wedding (Iranian to American). But he won't get married next month based on the excuse that they are visiting. Should I wait until they leave or make an altimatum that we marry regardless of if they're here or not and inform them of the date or I'm leaving?

This is your and his life. You are marrying each other not the family.Let your partner know how you feel. The love between 2 ppl will not allow anything to come between. He needs to put his foot down and let his parents know he loves you and he is marrying you,it is not his fault they are racist but you are both human and bleed red like everyone else.We are all Gods children,If we were all the same the world would be boring.Even with the wars and what not it is not the color or the ppl we are.It is what were grown up to believe and carried through the generations. If we were all to be saints we would be in the garden of eden right about now and everything would be perfect. The world is made of all different challenges and this may be one of them for you,it is a matter of conquring it.Let them know(out of respect) they are welcome but that will be their decission. Also let them know that the visit time is known but so is the wedding and if they can not accept it to make new plans for themselves Or move their visiting time well before or after the wedding. If they went as long as the relationship lastest they can still keep going, they will have to eventually accept it or simply just live with it.

well they could either learn to love you for the sake of their own childs happiness as every parent should,or be jerks and cant get their heads out of their asses long enough to see just how happy their son is with you and how much of a good person you are not only because you are you but because you actually make their son a very happy man,i can relate with you for my finacees mother doesnt approve of me either but then again she doesnt approve of anyone he is with, parents can be evil, all i can say is you really love this man then dont spend your days worrying about what his parents think about you, love always sees things through, even if you and his parents do not see eye to eye,you arent dating them but rather dating their son,i wish you only the best and pray things will come together for your sake, you deserve it....dont go and leave the guy because of this, plz understand the bind he is being put in,go ahead with your weddings plans and have your finacee tell his parents to either come to the wedding or cancel the visit because i love her and im marrying her rather you like it or not, love doesnt show age,race,etc.....i wish you the best and pray that things will work out for the better for you...but unless he stands up to them his parents will continue to try and run his life

I would make sure that he's completely okay marrying you even though his parrents don't approve...actually I probly wouldn't marry at all because I wouldn't want to come between him and his parrents....Anyway my advice would be to wait, make sure that he's completely okay with it, maybe even wait and try to befriend his parrents and get to know them a little and let them get to know you. My advice: sit down and have a long discussion with him about the whole situation.

You should get married when the time is right for the both of you's not on someone elses schedule!! Just tell him straight that this is what you want and if he loves and cares for you then he would do it!!

Give him a month, if he comes up with other excuses after the parents are gone, then maybe he is not sure he wants to mix races.

Why would you want to marry an Iranian? They treat woman like crap. How his parents are prove it to a point. Eff 'em. Tell him to marry you now, or find another desperate American to shack up to.

do not give an ultimatum, that can only harm your relationship. if he wants to wait until they leave then wait, no biggie.
