I never said anything about wanting to be in a relationship and we're just friends. What was he trying to imply by saying this. And no "he wants you" type answers. Does he think I'm full of myself as a lot of guys do? ugh

He brings up his past girlfrends alot in conversation and sometimes his ex wife,even though she treated him really bad. I find it irritating at times but dont like to let it show that it bothers me?

I've always wanted a daughter. I want to spoil her rotten! She will be a princess and will get whatever she wants. Yup, she will be daddy's little girl until the day she dies. My question is...

-How many of you ladies grew up that way?
-Did it have an impact on you later in life? Good or bad?

I mean, I tell her she is beautiful all the time and compliment her on her other physical attributes. I tell her she is funny becauase she always makes me laugh. I don't just want to say "I think you are smart." It just feels goofy. We have very deep conversations about everything and I respect her and her opinion. I want her to know how I feel about her in every way. Not just her body and her sense of humor. Thanks for your help.

She will allow me to perform the "cleaning duties" on them after she has finshed with her boyfriend.

Does she want me to tidy the bed or what? I really like this girl but I don't know what she means.

I'm very curious as to what my boyfriends ex wife looks like. He told me he threw away all her pictures but he's got his wedding video. He said only reason he kept it was because he has family on it who died. Anyway he showed his ex girlfriend the video but she made a stupid comment. well, we work out all the time, and afterwards she has bad body odor. Which, I guess is understandable, considering we've just gotten done working out. who lives outside of state. The only people that qualify for that right now are my parents and a mentally handicapped brother I have who I love very much. The ultimate reason/argument/excuse he uses is that he and his family don't send gifts to people outside of state, they only send greeting cards. And I don't have anything against that, I don't send gifts to all my relatives b/c that would be thousands of dollars. But he should have nothing against me sending a gift to my parents and a gift to my brother. Or if not, a gift for all of them. THey wouldn't mind not receiveing a gift, b/c before I got married we were poor and we really didnt have money to give each other too many gifts, we just did meaningful stuff together. But now I have a job and can more than afford to get a small gift and he's giving me such a hard time about it and won't compromise one bit. The real reason he doesnt is b/c he doesnt like my dad at all, but that is no reason not to let ur wife get them gifts

I have 'friends', but they are merely people I hang out with, so I like to think of them as acquaintances. In all honesty, I'm apathetic towards them, even if I've known them for a long time. Is this true for the majority of people?

Or do you develop such strong bonds with people normally? I mean, I joke around with them, hang out etc, but in the end, who really cares?

Since my younger brother was born 18 years ago me and my step father have never gotten along. You see my step father is from the middle east and he thinks women basically should roll out the red carpet for men. So my step father has always shown favoritism to my younger brother. Anything my brother did was right but if I made a mistake i was dead wrong and was punished.I remember as a teenager going over to my grandmothers crying about the unfair treatment. My mother did the best she could because #1 he made her quit her job and #2 my mom has rheumatoid arthritis. Now i that i am grown and have moved away from home I am much happier. I do not speak to my step dad at all because he is such a chauvanist. I am worried that my little 8 yr old sister will be treated the same way i was because she is a female.However, I promised her that she could live with me one day. My mom beggs me to reconnect with me step dad, but i can't because he irks me with his sexist remarks. What should i do?
