my husbands sister (who helped raise him and calls our son her grandson), gave us a puppy for christmas last year...she said that our son (who was only 2 months old at the time) needed to grow up with a dog in his life. the problem was...i hate dogs, okay, i dont hate them...i just dont want one.....this puppy chewed up my sons new things (crib legs, swing, ect.), it pooped and peed everywhere, and was in general a nuscance (sp?). we ended up giving the dog away to the pound a couple of days after christmas. the real reason that they gave us the dog is b/c their dog had puppies and they couldn't keep them all. they have been kind-of distant this whole year and i was just sitting here thinking about it and remembered the dog....If you were in my situation...how would you have handled that?? Did i make them mad?? was i wrong to get rid of the dog??

I'm a newly wed and my wife and I have issues from time to time communicating with eachother, as most couples do.

My question is, what's the best way to communicate a frustration or concern I have with something she said or did?

This is how it works now:
1. I mope around for a while.
2. She askes what's wrong.
3. I say nothing.
4. She insists that we should talk so she can help what's bothering me.
5. I tell her.
6. She takes offense if it's something negative and gets defensive.
7. 5 minutes into it, somehow I'm now being yelled at for something thathad nothing to do with the situation at hand.

How can we better this? Shouldn't I be able to tell my wife, my best friend, anything, even it it's something that bothers me about her? Shouldn't she understand that I only tell her so that we can work past it and become better partners?

I'm the opposite. She says something and I understand and don't take offense. How can I get her to speak the same language?

Well he started hitting on me the other night and i told him to stop it wasn't right to my friend so then he said he was going to get his class ring back (they wasn't even going out) and i was like ok then he told her that and started hitting on me again so i flirted back but didn't notice i did till later on well he had got his d*ck pierced and showed me a pic of it. I've been accused of fooling around with him before and i used to have a crush on him and they both knew it and now i feel its all my fault. My other friend says it isn't but i think so????

Sometimes I think my mother-in-law is nuts.......she acts nice one moment and then she is making odd comments....a couple of months ago we were sitting at the dinning room table and then out of no where she says "Don't have any more kids"......What? That made me mad cause who does she think she is to tell us what to do,,,,,,,,,she did it again, and then she did it again yesterday. We went to my brother-in-laws house cause it was his birthday and my husband told my son........tell grandma what a pirate says (he's 2) and then all of a sudden she says "as long as you don't say you want a brother" What? Where did that come from? She is making me soooooooooo mad, and I had told her last week when i went to her house on my time so that she can see her grandkids that me and my husband wanted to have one more.....and the reason i said it was so she could stop making those rude comments and she did it again anyway........and it just makes me mad cause my husband and i have said we wanted...

Our female teenage neighbor has a crush on my husband. In my opinion its very innocent, but its starting to get on my nerves. I do like this girl, she is very sweet. My husband has become flattered that she comes to visit him.......even when Im not home. I dont suspect any thing sexual is going on. She likes to come over and eat and watch our t.v and get on the computer and talk to my husband about her BF problems. At first I was included in the conversations but I slowly weeded my way out because I had household chores to attend to. She now refers to him as BP "best pal" . This pet name is what I call my 3 year old son.
The flirting has become out of hand and I plan to tell them both that I am not comfortable with their relationship anymore. I dont want to hurt the girls feelings because, like I said, I do like her and I know she does not know how I have recently begun to feel.

So............any suggestions?????

when my girlfriend and i are making out she, likes to be on top of me. And i like her on top of me. But she tends to push my head down sorta and she makes it a little awkward to kiss her when she kisses me like that. Shes like kissing me really really deep and puts alot of pressure on my face. Theres nothin that wrong with it. But it just makes me un comfortable

I haven't been in a relationship in six years. I haven't had any success in dating, since then. It's incredibly difficult to meet single women, in my region.

Should I just give up all hope of ever sharing love again?

I have been with my fiancé for three years. I want to marry him, but I want to wait. He wants to rush in to the marriage, I think that if he loves me that he will be willing to wait for me. We have a lot to work on before we get married. He likes to manipulate me doesn’t like me to leave for the weekend to see my friends (controlling). I am 21 and he is 28 his friends are all married with kids and don’t have time to hang out. My friends are all still young and have time to hang out. So he and his mom guilt trip me about going and visiting them.

I don’t know how to explain how I am feeling; he said that if I didn’t marry him by October that he will leave me. I love him with all my heart but I feel like I need to go off and do my own thing before I commit. Is there anyway to do my own thing, and still be with him. Or is it unfair to him?

I need help and don’t know what to do… I need some advice please.

How would handle a situation of that matter? Do you think you would have a choice to choose over your mate or your children especially if you were married? Does it make a difference if your girlfriend/boyfriend or husband/wife? if either parties didn't like ones children?

I met this guy online about two and a half years ago online. He has a gf so we were just really good friends. Somewhere along the line he became interested in me sexually. He wanted to be my pleasure partner. We agreed on it but then i decided not to for the obvious reasons. ( he has a gf and feelings will get involved and one of us if not all of us will get hurt)
He decided to hook me up on his best friend. Anyway, my interent pal's friend is really interested in me and now he is telling me that my interent pal was only going to have s*x with me and then never talk to me again, when i thought that there was a part of him that really did care about me from the things he said. I am interested in interent pal best friend, but how do i know that he is speaking the truth and not just telling me these things to make sure that i discountinue my interest in his friend and focus on him.
