I met this guy online about two and a half years ago online. He has a gf so we were just really good friends. Somewhere along the line he became interested in me sexually. He wanted to be my pleasure partner. We agreed on it but then i decided not to for the obvious reasons. ( he has a gf and feelings will get involved and one of us if not all of us will get hurt)
He decided to hook me up on his best friend. Anyway, my interent pal's friend is really interested in me and now he is telling me that my interent pal was only going to have s*x with me and then never talk to me again, when i thought that there was a part of him that really did care about me from the things he said. I am interested in interent pal best friend, but how do i know that he is speaking the truth and not just telling me these things to make sure that i discountinue my interest in his friend and focus on him.

You can't, unless you confront the first guy directly. Are you speaking to either of these guys in a manner other than the internet? If not, that's probably all they're both interested in.

Before you get involved with either one of these guys or anyone else for that matter, make sure you TALK to them first. Don't fall for anyone until you've had a chance to meet them in person. You can say anything you want in an email, but once you meet them in person, you'll find someone completely different. Talking on the internet also gives the person a chance to re-read anything that they might say, so if it comes off creepy, they can take it back and make it sound romantic. You can't do that face to face. Be careful.

You really don't know these people, people pretend to be boys when their girls, and girls when their boys, single when married. Find a real life warm body and get to know him, not an idea on a machine
