I have a friend who got engaged several months ago, but she doesn't seem to be doing anything to plan the wedding. I would like her to have a great wedding, from the admittedly selfish standpoint that I would like to attend a nice party with lots of people, good food and drinks, etc. How can I get her excited about taking this opportunity to have a great party?

Hi, so I dropped a selfish friend because all he did was use me from the get go. You know the kind of friends that take and never give? Yep that was him. Never helped to pay the rent or the bills, and almost got me kicked out of my apartment. So the other day I erased his pics from my computer, which lead to some pics being erased from his myspace page. You know what he did last night after I told him not to call me ever again? He called and said this: "you KNOW who this is. Thank you for erasing my ******* pictures..." I didn't let him finish I hung up on his ***. He wasn't a real friend in the first place, and a friend don't talk to you in a disrespectful way and take advantage of you. Anyway, what do you feel about this situation. Any answers are welcome. I just wanted to say that I'm glad I threw him out of my life, he still needs to grow up. I think someone may have to kick his *** for him to WAKE UP.

I am not one of the girls who goes out to a bar and brings no money, I try and see things as they are and not over dramatize them. My guy friends say I would make the greatest girlfriend....but for some reason my girls who are over flirtatous and money grubbin' get the guys. I understand that not all these guys are grade A but some of them are....

I understand guys are out there to enjoy their life and just go with it. So when is it that guys start looking for that lady, one they can be friends with and date, have fun...AND take home to mom and dad?

Riddle me that...lol

I have known my husband for 20 years. We have been together for 18 years and we have been married for 15 years. We have 2 boys. (13 & 8) I love him very much but I don't think he loves me as much as I love him. I know he loves me and he is a good man but I don't know if that is enough for me. Am I just being childish and selfish? I would do anything for him but I know for a fact that he would not do the same for me. Any good advice out there?

So...bedroom antics...some women like to be dominated, some like plain old fashioned eye to eye contact and gentleness, some like it rough, some like to be treated like a whore bent over a chair.......
I prefer women who like it to be equal, they can also at times take control!

Any Views....

I just got out of a year and a half long relationship, and moved to a new town. I feel lonely. Is a dating service like "Its Just Lunch"
a bad idea or would it help me meet new people with out having to go to the bar scene?

I have known this man about 2 years, and he has been coming over my husband and my house for about a year now. He has never shown us any pictures of his family. He has been living with this woman for about 12 years. She cheated on him about 2 years ago. He went back because they have a 12 year old child together. He told me that he didn't trust her, he wasn't in love with her, and that they have nothing in common. He then married her about 2 months ago. He didn't tell me, another friend told me. When I asked him, he said that he forgot to tell me, yet we had seen each other the day before the other friend told me. He said that he got married for the children. What is your opinion on this? What advice do you have for me? I have feelings for him, but I'm married. What do you think?

I have been married for five months today. I think it was a big mistake. He lies a lot about everything. I have three kids from a previous marriage, he acts inappropriately around them (swearing, fighting with them). I've started to have feelings for someone who has been interested in me for a long time. This guy is amazing, he is everything that you could ask for in a man. I feel confused and don't know what to do. If I leave my marriage I want to know for sure that it's not because of this other guy. We've been getting lots of counselling, sometimes things seem better, other times they are back to the same old. What do I do????

I've dated several Viet guys and cannot understand why they always have problems sharing their feelings and thoughts. How the heck do they supposed that girls will know how they feel? It's like the pride thing and the "I-can-deal-with-it-myself" mentality. Then when it comes to doing something nice and romantic, it's like that word "romantic" doesn't even exist in their dictionary. BTW, I'm in my early 20's, so maybe I haven't met all you sensitive Vietnamese guys out there. I could be wrong, but I'm not trying to generalize. =)
