Love and lust are different, but hard to determine at first, especially without any experience! However for me love can be at first sight, like a first love, someone you might lose, but hard to get over, never really stopped thing about him either! Anyways, love for a child is the strongest kind of love, and vise-versa! Though adults have went through extensive travel and endured pain for years to be with someone. But love itself is an attachment. Not always healthy. Yet, for some they say they could die without it! It boils down to your own personal experiences, your morals and standards. Your own perspective!

1. To have a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward (a person).
2. To have a feeling of intense desire and attraction toward (a person).
3. To have an intense emotional attachment to.
4.a. To embrace or caress. b. To have sexual intercourse with.
5. To like or desire enthusiastically.
6. Theology. To have charity for.
7. To thrive on; need. -intr. To experience deep affection or intense desire for another
1. Sensual love. This is sexual desire. Greeks called it epithymia.

2. Yearning for unity. For the Greeks this meant a drive to unite with something attractive. They called it eros. Our English word erotic means passion and sex, but for the Greeks, eros had a much broader meaning. It could even be used to describe love for God. C.S. Lewis uses the word to mean "falling in love."

3. Brotherly love. This kind of love shared by good friends and companions. It is a close feeling that develops when two persons have many things in common. The Greek word for this is phillia.

4. Family affection. This is the kind of love shared by parents and children. The Greeks called this storge.

5. Self-giving love. Greek Christians invented this concept and called it agape. They associated this type of love with Jesus. It is the self-giving devotion to others regardless of their merits. There are some people you don't think are very loveable, but you can love them anyway, simply because they are human beings.

Clearly, each one of these five words used by the Greeks has its own distinct meaning. Each is quite different from all the rest. When all these meanings get loaded into just one word, the result is hopeless confusion. No wonder we have a hard time deciding when we've found true love.

It's kind of like:

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
looking forward to a little afternoon delight.
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. .

Afternoon delight

Love is a choice more than a feeling cause once the oh I'm so in love feeling goes away(butterflies in stomach) then you choose who you will love......Untill you reach unconditional love like for your children or for God.

love is a honest and true care about someone. it doesn't die. in fact a test of love is that anyone you love you should be ready to die for. most people cant say they can make that choice. one man did though. he died for all of us, because he loved every single one of us. he was jesus. and because jesus did it, so can you. so go and love my people, LOVE!
