Is the case officially threw CPS or are they just living with you, and your raising them, Now I know no one likes to get CPS involved, but it's a huge blessing, the kids will get medical insurance, and they will get, all the psych tests, they need, and everything is covered. So if there not part of CPS give them a call, tell them the situation, tell them you want to be a relative care giver, they wont remove the kids from you, unless they find you unworthy, or a risk, they want to keep the kids with the family, also CPS will hold the parents accountable for a certain period for time, and get them help also. I'm in the same situation as yourself, one of my kids needs alot of help because he was a meth baby, and CPS has been great, and the monthly allowance really helps.
I hope this helps
God Bless

Well, go to a doctor. If you get state help, they have screening processes.
Do these children act like their really strange because mom was on drugs?
Go get them to a doctor. Tell them your worries. Then the results will make you feel less worried. IF the kids need medical needs, the doctor will let you know.
Just be there, love them, give them all the support they need right now, not being with a mom even if she does have drug problems, it still can harm kids to not be with their parents.

It depends what state you are in. Contact your local health department.
Every state accross the board has free health care for minorites (ie american/hispanic, black/ white, male/female). If you can't afford to add them to your health insurance you can apply for each of them to get their own and sign them up with local programs to check their health as well as give you assistance with their mental and physical needs assuming they don't have long term effects from the process they are going through.
There are so many programs awarded to families through the department of health and education. Make sure you call your local health department if that doesn't help contact your local congressman or local senates office. Their admin's and secy's are more than ready to assist and direct you to programs you should be aware of.
Take care

my sis in law did coke throughout her entire pregnancy with my nephew. he is 6 now and last year we were in and out of the hospital with him because of cardiac abnormalities, due to her coke use, which if found earlier would have been more manageable than they are now. no one would have known to look for these problems unless she had told us that she was using during her pregnancy. if you explain the situation to the pediatrician they will know what to do. i know there are signs to watch out for at home, including a wide variety of possible problems so it really is best to have them checked out. like i said my nephew is 6 and he didn't show any signs of in utero drug exposure until he was 5. Good luck, bless you i know how hard it is.

Take them to the doctor- a pediatrician, and explain the situation.
She may refer you to a child psychologist, and it depends on how old they are, but there should be some motor skills tests or "iq" tests or something to help determine the damage. Give them lots of love, and boundaries. Don't let them be spoiled because you feel sorry for them, or if they are handicapped someway,
Good for you to step up and take care of them. I hope you are having fun and loving your role in their lives. You are soooo important to them. Bless YOU!!
Tell their momma to get fixed, so she won't be bringing anymore kids into her mess.

Take them to a childrens hospital and have them checked there. Explain your concerns.
Also, if either/both have effects fron the drug use (disabilities, etc.), they are entitled to SSI disability benefits, but you will need the diagnosis from the doctor. That should help you out raising them.

They may have delayed learning or some other issues. It's good if it's caught early so intervention could be done.

Call their pediatrician explain the situation and ask if there's signs you should look for or any testing that should be done.
